I heard that with sensitive amps, esp tubes.. they will pick up radio waves that are strong in the area. Believe it or not, I brought my Altec Lansing ACS45.1 computer speakers to the academy during my NS basic training and I encountered the same phenonmena as you. It's normal.. it only goes to show that ur amp is more sensitive and transparent than your previous one.

Yes, the audio plant has won several awards.. it's basically an AC regenerator.. meaning that it converts electricity to magnetic energy and back to electricity again. It boasts that it regenerates the electricity so that it is as if you have your own power generator powering ur equipment. Normal power conditioners use electronic circuits to filter the power signal.. thus, I believe that the PS audio plant is better, abeit the higher price and limited wattage ability.
