  1. Here's the og NADCRUSHER in action 🤣
  2. Recently purchased from another SNA member - original listing below. These are my first high end HPs but while there's no denying their formidable technical prowess, I'm not 100% sure they're the right cans for my busted drummer ears. I won't cry if I have to keep them but wouldn't mind exploring other options, and am open to swaps.
  3. Can anyone rate these compared to HD800S cans? I've recently acquired a used set but not 100% sure yet if I can live with such highly analytical detail, as amazing as it is, and find myself already looking around at alternatives. Very nearly jumped on your Focal Clears @akqrate
  4. I have somebody auditioning them over the weekend but will keep you posted.
  5. Purchased new Dec 2020. Price is negotiable. Will swap Sennheiser HD800s or headphones of similar value. Absolutely love their sound for the price but I'm hoping to move up the food chain to something more on par with the rest of my system. Speakers are unmarked, and come complete with magnetic grilles and velvet bags. Preference given to local purchase but freight isn't out of the question. Plenty of reviews and pictures online if you're interested to learn more, including this one: https://www.digitaltrends.com/speaker-reviews/ape
  6. *bump* Keen to sell, new speakers on their way and I don't want these going in to storage. Will swap for Sennheiser HD800s or headphones of similar value.
  7. That's her pre-meal "feed me!" look 😅 I agree, their marketing down under is non-existent. After much research I personally didn't regret buying the Aperions for a second, they're proper giant killers. If something new and shiny hadn't caught my eye I'd be more than happy to live with them long term.

  9. I came here to put in a vote for JPSE! Saw them a handful of times in Christchurch early '90s (at Warner's hotel, probably). Love love love! Especially Bleeding Star, holy stagedive Batman, what an intoxicating mix.
  10. Putting in a vote for REL. I've had two T7i units in my system for two weeks and the difference they make to all my music... From Jethro Tull and Phoebe Snow to Kraftwerk and LCD Soundsystem and everything else in between... Is **** eating grin MASSIVE. Still tweaking and playing with placement but having an absolute blast every time I listen. I chose these partly because my amp has no pre outs for line level, and I don't need the house to shake for home theatre LFE. The RELs dig effortlessly deep and low, play obscenely loud without breaking a sweat, are agile enough to keep pace all day and
  11. Long shot, but here goes. Recently purchased in mint condition from the original owner who bought new in 2018. I have been absolutely loving it, mainly as a standalone DAC playing through my six month old PM KI Ruby amp - the SA-14S1 SE truly is a stunning performer, every bit as good as in the SNA review below. I bought it thinking I would struggle to find the matching KI Ruby SACD player anytime soon and whaddya know, literally weeks later one has come up for sale in the right colour and not far from me. Of course it has! I won't be remotely sad to keep it, like I sa
  12. I might just put it up for sale on the very slim chance I can sell it, cobble together the difference, and buy your Ruby to match my amp. Seems unlikely but can't hurt to try.
