  1. Thanks Andy Had the chance to buy a Thor PS10 for $800 10 years ago, whilst I heard a small difference, couldnt justify against putting that budget toward other hifi. Now 10 years on my system has changed and now wishing Id bought it. Not that I really know what the PS10 does over a Smart board, over the other solutions, versus a $15k solution. Part of me thinks its drinking champagne from a crystal glass versus a Mug as most of our components should have good quality power solutions inside them. But its interesting if there are all these various solutions whether someone offe
  2. Good point, I guess a measurement or series of measurements that says I should or do not need to invest in a power regenerator.
  3. So does anyone have a device that measures quality of power
  4. Have been reading articles such as https://ecohealthsolutions.com.au/store/dirty-electricity-filter/ and there are measuring devices to buy out there. There are some serious power solutions available and filters and even isolation devices. So much to choose and spend on. At the moment I think an Isolation device such as this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254536278996?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&itemid=254536278996&targetid=1278990506386&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9071458&poi=&campaignid=10101784964&mkgroupid=125

And there are some serious power solutions and filters and even isolation devices. All a major expense to either look good or spend time finding the right kit. So first is there anyone who in Melbourne can rock up and measure, or shall I buy the measurement equipment and rent it for all to check as a service?
  6. Thank you for confirming, what are your thoughts on price range? I assuming offers around $600?
  7. Apologies, thought I had responded, but yes it is. Had fun comparing to a mates Mirror Valve DAC, where is sounded more lively and clear.
  8. Wall mount reasonabe solid on 18mm Oak, but will be adding a platform ontop when ready. Just wish there was a measuring device.
  9. So they say never say never, had relo over with baby over and hey presto immediate justification
  10. Anyone know how many hours these needs to burn in 🙂
  11. Thanks, just cant wall mount with current setup.
  12. THanks, will definitely try tyre option
  13. Hi Andy, yes the bench has four feet with some acoustic 10mm material as padding direct to the floor, I'm ok with not banging my feet on the floor, but was thinking more so of the speaker sound, esp sub feeding back through the TT. Fun reading, thanks
  14. Hi, making a platform for my Kuzma, given no suspension, when I stamp my wooden floor, get a thud, but does this mean that sound vibrations more subtle are affecting playback? Re design, current version is 20mm ply on 8mm accoustic board on 2mm carbon fibre board wrapped in Carbon n fibre, on 6mm sorbothane feet (have removed metal feet) . But it's still not suspended..... Ideas appreciated
