Item: 15" ported sub Location: Melbourne Price: 125 pickup only, too big and heavy to ship Item Condition: works fine Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This was a project I put together many years ago. The cabinets are made from 32mm MDF and are internally braced. They used to sell these drivers at Jaycar, I forget all the details. I do remember that these boxes were tuned more for high spl rather than low fq. I have two of these, I may get around to listing the other one soon. The plate amps were also from Jaycar and started playing up, iirc one developed hum whilst the other's auto on feature became unreliable. I had some NAD power amps, so converted them to passive by installing binding posts and wiring the drivers to them instad of the amps. (I used a powerboard with master/slave for powering on and off) I am no longer using these and am selling as-is. The drivers are fully functional with no operational issues. There is a front grill but the light grey cloth is a bit grubby and stained EDIT: Box dimensions in mm are approx 660H x 515W x 415D The boxes are biscuit joined and triton wood glued, also finished with several coats of high quality water based clear coat. The sub in the pics has SVS Soundpath isolation feet attached, which are fairly new and not included. Other than that, it is in excellent condition. It has the brass upgrade spikes. This combination retails for more than a grand. Item: NAD 216 125W amplifier Location: Inner Melbourne Price: 200 pickup, 55 extra to post in Aus Item Condition: Working perfectly, some cosmetic marks Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Bought this in the Trading Post many years ago, I actually have two, this listing is for the one in the photos attached. Has always worked flawlessly and has spent much of it's time in storage. I have never had the top off it, I tried to get some vision through the vent holes of it's insides in the pics. iirc, rated by NAD as 125 wpc @ 8 Ohms, stereo, or 400 w, bridged. I have used these both as subwoofer amps, and for full range speakers, and was very happy. I have now moved away from multi-channel, and have some powered subs for my stereo set up, so these are not being used. It has some scratches on the front facia, as can be seen in the pics. Finally had some time to sit down and enjoy a good listen and comparison with my Oppo PM-1's the other day. I could only keep 1, so had to decide, I'm keeping the PM-1's for now. Not an easy decision, love the sub bass from the Audeze - they obviously have more extension at both ends of the frequency spectrum. I also feel the LCD 2's are the more accurate of the two. Whilst I love listning to both, I felt somehow more engaged with the music with the Oppo's. As a side note, if anyone might be interested, I prefered the Oppo's with Dire Straits, but prefered the LCD's with Daft Punk - the bass sounds phenomenal!
