g'day all... I'm after some advice on denon systems, being hooked up to krix speakers.... my problem is that the krix speakers I am looking at are rated at 4 ohms and the denon looks ok for 6 ohms? will the 3310 be ok for 4 ohms? with the following speakers? atmospherix x 4 in the roof graphix center (which is the 4ohm speaker) sub is the krix number 3..... or will the 4310 be the only one able to do the job? basically tossing up the 3310 or 4310.... and cant find an answer here or anywhere else!

As the title suggests I am after some speaker advice.... I want to run something like this x 4 2 front 2 back (ecliptix all 4) sub and center also.... hooked up to something like a denon 4310 with a pioneer 50 LX and a blue ray ( these I have already) Ideas? info? thanks!!

Im really interested in getting access to star sports somehow? basically foxtel etc etc are rubbish! and Im after ALL the motor sport that I can get on star sports... in a perfect world I would like to only subscribe to eurosport and espn star sports... is there a way to get this in australia??? HELP

ok boys and girls! who out there has seen some H1 (you know the PVR without the HDD that you can link to the P1 or P2) I have been told that there not going to be made anymore, so not wanting to buy another P1.... where could I get one?? $250 is what I have been told is the price? oh and I got a price today from HN for a P1 at $650 cheers!!!

ok.... so how much is LAN cable per mtr??? I have no idea... as my house was wired with it before I got it! (sadly there are points all over the house but not where the TV unit is... stupid stupid!) so let me get this right? if I get the P2 and LAN hard wire it to the H1 I should do it via the N1 router to be able to use the computer also with it???? also once I get the H1 to add a HDD to it, is it simply a case of plugging in an external USB drive and away we go? so do anyone do special buy prices for the units? or is it pretty much fixed?

g'day, It looks like the beyonwiz is the way to go for my new house.... a couple of questions? If I have the P2 in the main room and a H1 in the spare room, is it possible to wirelessly connect the units? as I don't have LAN cable running to the main room? is it possible to put a USB WIFI dongle in the USB plug on the P2 and send the data to my belkin N1 vision router? then from there I have cable LAN to the other H1.... any other suggestions that will keep the FULL quality of signal etc? also where would be the best place to buy both of these? cheers!

well mate I am in the same boat !!!! PVR = i.e. a digitalview 810 or similar? ( I'd love there to be a simple post giving a ranking of say the top 10 PVRs ) or media centre ???? I have spent maybe 30 hrs searching this forum, whilst it has info, nothing seems to cut thru all the BS! ... help... eeeek! my wish list :- 500gig or 1ter twin tuner to record 2 tv ch and watch something else HDMI 1080i or p networkable in a house with LAN cable in each room easy to use upgradeable ideas???

g'day all, I have searched and searched the forum for days... (if not weeks!) looking for some info on the following... I have just bought the following :- pioneer lx508 my new house has been wired with ethernet cables and looks to have the clipsal star serve system fitted??? (but no idea how to use this) there is currently only 1 TV antenna point, and I'm curious to know if the ethernet points are for the TV also? (every room has the wall plug) I would love to get a new media center, however I want to be able to record easily 1080p or i ? is this possible... I previously set up a system with a HDD digitalview 810 and that is great, however Im hoping this type of system is better? right now I am getting naked DSL fitted to the house, and hope to be able to link that in also! anyhelp would be great... i.e. brands to buy? cheers!

seriously.... "tell him he is dreamin' " $2500??? I don't think anyone would ever sell a 1080p pioneer 508 for that price.... $3800 - $4200 depending on where you are in oz.... and I doubt there are any new ones AT ALL left in australia???? then again you could be just joking!

got it from a place here in SA called dennis white.... used to be called A2V .... not sure if they have anymore! but there is one on the wall...

I thought 4200 was a pretty good price!.... as much as I like the 509 its going to be expensive for a while I think!
