    Aussie- 89.7 UNID South Australian ABC station? Mentions of the weather in Renmark and statewide, sounded very ABC-ish to me. Only South Aussies listed are 5TCB Naracoorte and 5PBA Salisbury (northern Adelaide suburb). They are both community stations. Adelaide Dxers reported hearing the east coast today also.

    Tropo DX

    * Brown Mountain 99.3/100.1/100.9 Fair to moderate strength

    * 7JJJ Launceston 90.9 (morning only)- weak strength from the top of Mt. Pleasant.

    * 2MNO 93.3 Cooma- weak to fair

    * 2SKI Cooma 97.7 with no trace of 2SBS Sydney!

    * Eden 104.7/105.5/106.3/107.1/107.9- moderate to good strength

    * Middle Brother national stations at moderate to good strength + Great Lakes FM Forster.

    New transmission:

    102.7 Ulladulla (Radio Safe Harbour) is on the air but fully automated with music from what I could tell.

    Sorry for the rather lengthy post, but it was a truly exceptional day for DX. Just shows that if you go to a regional area, the variety of stations received improves a great deal. There was something on almost every frequency (every 100 khZ) at times, so there may have been more about.

  2. It was interesting going to palm beach on the weekend. ABC newsradio 98.1 was clear in Palm Beach as soon you drive 6 km down the road it was a mess. I think the signal was still ok but i98 fm will puts up a good fight. Palm Beach sydney reception is really borderline. I wonder why they can't put newsradio on 98.3FM like 96.3 FM. Maybe 2000 FM would have issues.

    NBN. What more can I say? B)

    Some morning inland tropo brought the following new catches from Oatley on 8/1;

    2ABCRN Mt. Soma (Tamworth) 93.9

    2JJJ Mt. Soma 94.7

    2RVR Mt. Bingar (Griffith) 100.5

    Also, a hint of Es from Auckland (91.0).

  3. I have figured out the mystery of the 'pirate' station on 93.9. It is a re-broadcast of Middle East Radio, who transmit on 87.6 throughout the eastern half of Sydney. Since the 87.6 service barely makes it in here, it probably isn't strong enough to cause a harmonic, so I'm guessing 93.9 is an illegal re-broadcast, flying under the radar as it is only 200 khZ from Koori Radio on 93.7.

    As for the Heart 103.2 harmonic on 92.7, a Dxer from Ryde on ICDX reported hearing it at Meadowbank on the car radio, without any other harmonics from the Sydney high powered service. Perhaps there is a problem with their tx, because this harmonic has appeared rather suddenly in the last month.

  4. At around 9:30am this morning near Campbelltown, what I got on 92.7 was not Zoo FM from near Dubbo, but it was either:

    * A translator service for Heart 103.2 (don't know any of it)

    * Weak harmonic of Heart 103.2

    Evidence of this is that they said 'Heart 103.2' on-air, and I also checked on its 103.2 service.

    Cenn-Cruaich (102.3, 105.5 & 106.3) & ABC Newsradio from Canberra was coming in strongly this morning, as well as a faint signal of Eagle FM from Goulburn.

    Yes, 92.7 produces a weak harmonic of Heart 103.2 at my place as well :). In tropo conditions it is easily mudded by either BAB, Artsound or Zoo. Usual inland tropo this morning here as well, but managed to get a "Tune" light on 2EC 105.9 for the first time! Power FM FSC was well under 2ABCRN Orange though.

    At Kurnell this morning, got 2EC and Power FSC weakly from Potter Point. Some weak E-skip from 93.3 4MK/T Clairview and (suspect) 91.7 4QAA Dysart, which was received facing north across Botany Bay. Also picked up a pirate on 91.7, transmitting Arabic. Can't get it at home though. Was not e-skip as a stable signal.

  5. I was down in my favourite part of the world today, which is the Wollongong area, and well, there were lots of interesting things to talk about, regarding DXing, which were all recorded on my Sangean. ;)

    In around Campbelltown & Appin, the Cenn-Cruaich services were coming in strong through my Sangean (inside the moving Astra, sitting in the back seat). Between Appin & Bulli Tops, 99.9 JJJ & 100.7 ABC Radio National from Mt. Dowe was coming through.

    Got Mt. Dowe briefly from home last night (99.1 service only), Cenn Cruaich was booming in all night.

    The biggest highlight of that day trip was achieved at Bald Hill, near Stanwell Park. I have finally picked up FM stations from NZ!!!!! :D :D :D

    They were coming in very clear at times, which was at around 12pm AEDT.

    I've picked up the following NZ stations, all of which transmit from Auckland's Sky Tower:

    88.6 Mai FM

    89.4 NewsTalk ZB

    90.2 The Rock FM

    91.0 ZM

    91.8 More FM (heavily interfered by WIN3 audio carrier, but managed to get it)

    93.4 The Breeze

    Congratulations! I picked up these stations (bar Mai FM) today between 11 and 12 from home. Did you try 91.6 from Northland? I was getting that even clearer than Auckland. Bald Hill is one of the best NZ DX spots around. I can never seem to get Mai FM :wacko: .

    From Bald Hill to Auckland's Sky Tower, the distance between those two places is almost 2,200km, which has become my personal best DX record for receiving the furthest FM signals at one particular place.

    Next stop WA for you then :).

    At Flagstaff Point in Wollongong, the Mt. Wandera stations were coming through, including 104.3 Power FM & 105.9 2EC. I also got 105.5 2EC from Bimmil Hill, which was co-channeling with SBS Radio from Canberra. I also got 103.9 ABC Newsradio from Canberra

    I weakly got Power 104.3 and 2EC 105.9 from home this morning. At this very moment (and since 5 pm), I've been getting about a 4/10 signal of 105.5 2EC from Eden, with no hint of Canberra. Canberra was coming in strong this morning though. Also about a 5/10 fadey signal of BAB at the moment, all indoors on the Sangean. The tropo is kicking, about time!

    At the Wollongong Foreshore Park (close to Wollongong Harbour), with a good line-of-sight towards the south, I was having a 'mini-picnic' for an hour, listening to mainly BAB (80s Retro) & 2EC. Strangely, the 105.5 service from Eden was coming in stronger than the 105.9 service from Mt. Wandera, and it was quite listenable too, reception-wise. :)

    The 2EC anomaly is what I observed back in October. Right now I'm getting 105.5 2EC with no hint of 105.9 (although I'm getting some reception of the ABC Wandera services, which I usually do in summer). It's because of the coastal ducting path, which excludes Mt. Wandera as it's a bit inland. Tropo from Mt. Wandera is concurrent with Canberra tropo, in my experience. Now, I think that 2EC 105.5 comes in when you get 'southern coastal tropo', i.e. BAB and increased reception of Wollongong TV stations.

    At around 3pm AEDT, the Mackay FM services were coming through only briefly, which was waving in & out.

    I was trying for North QLD FM all morning, but only got bloody NZ yet again :). I don't get northern paths as well as you do (I'm blocked on the north side). Very open to the east, which is why I get NZ skip on an almost daily basis this time of year.

    Once again, congratulations on your first Trans Tasman FM DX!!! B)

  6. Just looked at the tropo forecast map (http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo_aus.html) and upon seeing it, the next few days will be quite interesting in the Sydney region, regarding tropo. :) :)

    So far, this has been a rather dull tropo season in Sydney. However, we had a few E-skips from Queensland, SA & NZ to compensate for that! :D

    I don't look at the tropo forecast map myself as I want to be surprised :P. However, it's obvious that tropo is going to be good for the foreseeable future, with stable weather forecast.

    Tropo tonight from all directions; this morning Newcastle/Mid Brother was in, tonight I have BAB, Mt. Ulandra, Eagle FM, Canberra, Cenn Cruaich in. I get Mt. Ulandra most of the time in summer, as well as Batemans Bay.

  7. A long lasting Es opening to NZ from around 1030-1400! Some of the reception was so stable it was like hearing tropo (though it wasn't tropo).

    Usual Auckland/Northland/Hamilton Fmers, but since FBI has been having some transmission problems of late, I managed to log 94.6 Life FM Hamilton for the first time. FBI is broadcasting at significantly reduced power, hence I was able to get a splatter free copy of this station at one point!

    Other logs were an UNID on 90.7 (Harvey Norman ad) and a UNID ABC RR/RN station on 92.5 (Aussie accent). Not 3ABCRN Western Vic as nothing on 93.3, nor 2ABCRN Wallerawang as clear E-skip reception. Unlikely WA reception at this hour. Very likely 4ABCRR Glenden, was not parallel to anything in this timezone. 91.7 was also received with a commercial program, this could have been 4MMK/T Glenden. The ABCRR station is a mere 20 watts! This opening to the Mackay region was immediately before the NZ DX.

  8. Yep, pretty sure, I heard ads for Merimbula, etc as well as station IDs "Summer is 2EC". 104.3 was playing Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend".

    This is where the DXing was done...

    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&...c=addr&om=1

    Not "Kurnell" proper, but this road that goes to nowhere and faces south. ;)

    I stand corrected Winston :). I wasn't sure where Potter Point was, but judging from the location it would be definitely possible to dx Batemans (perhaps even Eden and Brown Mountain?) quite clearly from there. I have an old street directory that doesn't show the road going all the way to the point. Will have to check this out, next Sunday if the cricket is finished. Thought it was all 4WD tracks around that area... does the road go to a lookout at the point or something?

    EDIT: 92.7 may have also been Bay and Basin FM from Vincentia. Only 100 w but definitely possible given the location.

  9. I was at Potter Point (near Kurnell) facing south and received these stations on the Astra car radio, not sure whether it was tropo or just good LOS south away from interference sources...

    106.7 - 2ST - Ulladulla (1.6kw)

    106.3 - Mix 106.3 - Canberra (20kw)

    105.9 - 2EC - Bateman's Bay/Moruya (20kw)

    105.5 - SBS FM - Canberra (80kw)

    105.1 - ABC Radio National - Bateman's Bay/Moruya (40kw)

    104.7 - FM104.7 - Canberra (20kw)

    104.3 - Power FM - Bateman's Bay/Moruya (20kw)

    103.9 - ABC News Radio - Canberra (80kw)

    103.7 - 2NUR - Newcastle (10kw)

    103.5 - ABC Local Radio - Bateman's Bay/Moruya (20kw)

    102.3 - ABC Classic FM - Canberra (80kw)

    101.9 - ABC Classic FM - Bateman's Bay/Moruya (40kw)

    101.5 - Triple J - Canberra (80kw)

    92.7 - Artsound FM - Canberra (20kw)

    Some good catches. Are you sure you received 2EC & Power FM from Batemans Bay from Kurnell? From La Perouse (on the other side of the bay), I find that whilst the ABC services (101.9, 103.5 & 105.1) are permanent reception (along with Canberra), I can't pick these commercial stations up. This is using a Pioneer Supertuner III with Mosfet preamp. In fact, I've only received them once before (at Maroubra/Coogee) facing south (the Orange stations dominate 104.3 and 105.9 usually). By the looks of today, not much tropo was around (I was away from the dial the whole day with Xmas commitments). Will definitely check out this location soon, as it's not far from Oatley B).

  10. They were quite strong at times. I did hear plenty of local ads on Sea FM Mackay, as well as hearing the "Mackay & the Whitsundays' Sea FM" ID. I only received 4MK-FM for about a minute or so, long enough to hear their station ID, which goes "From the Reef to the Ranges, the best songs of all time, 4MK", followed by "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty. When I checked 101.9 again a minute later, Triple J from Orange took over the frequency.

    Read what I said above.

    As I write this post, I can't receive the Mackay FM stations anymore. Ah well, it was good while it lasted. Another E-skip success story for me this season! ^_^

    Never got them that strong at my location. For about 2 mins, the Townsville stations were quite strong with the 11 AM (12 PM) news from Sea FM, then for about a minute 101.1 4PB Cairns faded up on its own. Looks like the 'cloud' moved north, and is now out of range for single hop DX from Sydney.

  11. Since around 11 this morning, on the Astra car radio in front of my house near Campbelltown, I got E-skip FM reception from Mackay, QLD.

    Stations I'm receiving (as of 11:45am AEDT) are:

    97.9 ABC Classic FM

    98.7 Sea FM

    99.5 Triple J

    101.1 ABC Tropical North Queensland

    101.9 4MK-FM

    102.7 ABC Radio National

    Had those as well, plus 103.5 Mackay and a bit of 101.1 4PB Cairns mixing in with 4QAA. How strong were the signals? Generally weak here with some strongish peaks, but I don't face north. Currently, Orange and Batemans Bay are troubling 101.9 at my location.

  12. Saw this thread on Mediaspy and thought I'd start one here :).

    Here's mine for 2EC (2305-2359) on 23/12. Note the music starts after 5 mins of news from 2UE.

    * The Pointer Sisters- I'm so Excited

    * Shannon Noll- Lift

    IDENT: "Summer is 2EC"

    * Little River Band- St. Louis

    AD BREAK (1 promo + 4 ads)

    IDENT: "East Coast Radio.... 2EC"

    * Rob Thomas- Lonely No More

    * Dobie Gray- Drift Away

    IDENT: "Summer is 2EC (slightly different)

    * Unidentified- "I give my heart to you" (sounds like Katie Noonan or other similar female vocalist). Could be Margo Smith- If I give my heart to you.

    AD BREAK (1 promo + 4 ads)

    IDENT: "Summer is 2EC" (slightly different again)

    * Joe Cocker/Jennifer Warnes- Up Where we Belong

    * Elvis Costello- Watching the Detectives

    IDENT: "Summer is 2EC" (same as 1st one)

    * Black Sorrows- One Mo'Time

    AD BREAK (1 promo+ 4 ads)

    IDENT: "Music country on playing your favourites for 70 years, 2EC"

    * Country Song- "I believe in a happy end to the story"- couldn't find the artist

    * ABBA- Knowing me, Knowing you

    IDENT: "Summer is 2EC" (different again)

    * Billy Ocean- Caribbean Queen

    Then into networked news from 2UE until 5 past the hour. Notice there is only 1 country song in the hour, as opposed to (roughly) 3 in the hour in the non-summer period. Perhaps catering for the holiday-makers down there? Also, only 1 "East Coast Radio.... 2EC" in the hour :(.

  13. As a Newcastle listener, NEW-FM is one of the 'saddest' stories.

    If you consider how good they used to be when they first exploded onto the scene in 1989 to where they are now - basically being a feeder station for the Broadcast Operations stations in Northern/Western NSW and Southern Qld (especially at nights and weekends)... it's really quite sad... The Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region has a population of 500,000 with 4 commercial stations and one of them does THIS... :wacko:

    New FM was stuffed before BOG took it over, imo. They just couldn't decide what they wanted to be, and like MMM, drifted away from its rock roots. The beginning of the end was when they tried to be like NOVA with the "Something different" promotion in 2003. In 2002, they still sounded OK with a modern rock format, playing tracks that MMM did not play at the time. After years of stuffing round, they had no choice but to become a hub for the BOG.

    And I agree on 96.1 The Edge.. it's a station that should have it's licence cancelled for failing to be relevant to its' licence area..

    Technically... but put yourself in ARN's shoes. If you've got a tx site like Wentworth Falls, which can cover just about the whole of Sydney with a mere fraction of the power used at Artarmon, then wouldn't you try to target the broader Sydney audience? Although not my cup of tea, the urban format is popular with the youth of Sydney (which includes Western Sydney). It's a difficult one. An urban format adds to the diversity of Sydney radio, but does not serve Western Sydney as a whole. Legally, 96.1 offers ARN a loophole to broadcast 3 stations in the Sydney area... so the 96.1 license would have to be sold if ACMA makes 96.1 a Sydney wide frequency. A new player would have to come in (probably Macbank).

    From what I've heard of the station, Kick 876 does a good job of representing the interests of Western Sydney, albeit with a smaller coverage area given that it's only an LPON.

    As an aside, has anyone listened to the current MMM format? It seems to play more rock, but with the usual violations such as Kelly Clarkson :angry2: . Even Red FM from WA (which was the purest rock format in 2001 in the country) played her yesterday (I gave them a brief listen online).

  14. My 2 bob's worth now :blink: I reccon to 2 worst Commercial radio stations in Australia are in Lithgow. (They sound like 2 stations in receivership :rolleyes: )The last time I herd them 2LT Sounded like it was being broadcast from inside a tin can (I did'nt spend a lot of time listning because of how bad there audio was) & 107.9 FM was Playing Young Chick Format stuff to Coal Miners :rolleyes: So 2LT & 2ICE get my vote.

    The statement I made with regards Eagle FM is now over 2 years old, when I was younger (and more cretinous) than I am today. My vote would now go to any one of the MRR pop stations (Star,Sea or Hot). Networking stuff ups, generic programming and bland music are just some of the reasons, with little to no localism. Before you take the mickey out of 2LT/2ICE or any other independent operation, they do provide (on average) more localism than the MRR stations. From what I've heard of 2LT, it does attempt to keep it local, as does 2BS in Bathurst. Sure, 1079 is automated most of the time, but at least the music is better than Star FM (I've heard many rock tracks even on 1079's 'chick' format that you don't hear on Triple M, which is supposed to be a rock station). Eagle FM is another automated station most of the time, but again, the music is slightly better than what you would hear on Star FM imo. Also, being a bit 'amateurish' is part of an independent stations' charm :). If Midwest Broadcasters is going into receivership (which I've heard), then Lithgow would be a "Prime" takeover target from what I've read over at Mediaspy...

    As for your complaint about the audio on the Lithgow stations, I've not noticed it from where I live (I get both stations OK round the clock). The worst commercial station in terms of audio quality has to be 2ST from Bowral/Sanctuary Point/Ulladulla. Any track with any sort of rhythm sounds horribly distorted, a shame really, since the music format is quite unlike anything else in the Sydney area. The problem stems from the fact that these three translators are FM for AM, and some of the equipment used to make the conversion is horribly wrong.

  15. Here are the distances for the following:

    Mt Lennard (TX site for 93.3 6ABC) to Oatley - 3238km

    Mt Barker (TX site for 95.3 Hot FM) to Finley - 2531km

    I think billybob_chider has achieved an Australian record for the longest known distance travelled by an FM signal in Australia.

    If that's the case, congratulations! :)

    Thanks, but Todd Emslie has received American Samoa (KSBS) on 92.1 before 2MFM started. This is a distance of some 2700 miles (over 4000 km). The Australian record is reception of this same station by a dxer located at Marlo Beach, Victoria, which is in far east Gippsland (very nice spot btw). Todd regularly gets Bunbury from Chatswood with his professional setup :). However, I regard my catch of 6ABCFM Narrogin on 92.5 (just faded up for a bit) as better, as it only transmits 2 kW in contrast to the 100 kW that Mt. Lennard pumps out.

  16. oops miss-read your post...................nothing wrong with a bit of blondie.......................atomic's good for a change instead of the regulars they trot out.........mmm had it on while i was driving to work yeterday at 430am

    If you love Blondie's 'Atomic', then try and get yourself a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Official Soundtrack, which has that song and many other new wave classics...that 7 disc set is where I gained my passion for 80's music :).

  17. Es today was from the land of the long white cloud:

    * Usual Auckland FM's up to 94.2 "The Edge"

    * 89.9 Times FM Orewa (new logging). Orewa is just north of Auckland. Well over 2VTR.

    * 91.4 Radio NZ Concert, Hamilton (has changed frequency from 91.5)

    * 103.4 Mai FM, Hamilton.

    * 91.6 More FM Northland

    * 93.2 Hauraki Northland

    Also got an Australian community station before the NZ opening on 89.3 that was peaking over 2GLF with modern rock mx such as Simple Plan. Young kid as announcer. Could have been Warwick (QLD), Gold Coast (QLD), Victor Harbour (SA), or Arthurton (SA). Got a weak 93.1 as well, sounded like an ABC service although could have been 4TAB Stanthorpe or Kingaroy, if 89.3 was Warwick. Didn't notice RTQ0 on the telly. I think we can rule out the Gold Coast, nothing on 88.5, 91.7 or 92.5 for the GC. There are no 93.1's close to Victor Harbour or Arthurton, maybe 5ABCFM Port Lincoln again but didn't notice Magic on 89.9.

  18. All,

    Since the Es was coming in from South Australia (and Western Australia), the most likely 95.9 would have been 5JJJ Adelaide Foothills, which plays Ben Lee on a regular basis. 95.1 may have been 5SBS Adelaide Foothills. Es was reported on ICDX to QLD as well, so Charters Towers on 95.9 (common catch from Sydney), and Gladstone/Roma/Blackall/Bowen for 95.1 are possibilities.

  19. EDIT: Just picked up 89.9 Magic FM from Port Lincoln!!!! :blink: :blink: :blink:

    And I also briefly got SAFM's Adelaide Foothills translator service on 90.3!

    Here's what I just got at 1400

    89.9- Magic FM Port Lincoln

    93.1- 5ABCFM Port Lincoln (50 watts!)

    Most Adelaide Foothills + Mt. Lofty txs (couldn't get 90.3 due to 2MWM). 92.7 Fresh FM by far the best reception.

    98.7- Power FM Murray Bridge (sounds like Power FSC)

    Congratulations to DTV_Campbelltown for the first E-skip of the season!

  20. In Illawong (not far from your part of the world, billybob_chider :))

    Just across the river from me, in fact :). If you go out to the easternmost point of Illawong (all the way along Fowler Rd.), then you can see my peninsula.

    I did try picking up NZ FM stations, checking whether there's any E's action between Sydney & NZ. Various potential NZ frequencies, for example 91.8 & 92.4, is being swamped by 92.1 2MFM.

    NZ was the one place that wasn't received today, however I got it yesterday (usual Auckland Fm's). I'd say that Auckland is the most common catch from Oatley. Frequencies are 89.4, 90.2 (swamped by 2NBC, even with a Supertuner, but a real chance from Campbelltown), 90.6, 91.0 (swamped atm by temporary middle east radio broadcast), 91.8, 92.6, 93.4, 94.2, 100.6, 102.2, 103.6, 105.4. 91.6 from Northland (More FM) is also a very common catch.There are obviously more Auckland stations but these are covered by the locals (such as 96.1 Flava).

    In Menai, near the intersection of Bangor Bypass & New Illawarra Road, I heard something on 92.7 that came over the ABC Classic FM splatter. It was playing techno music, so it could be either BAB from Jervis Bay or Zoo FM from Dubbo (didn't get an ID).

    Hard to say what it was, as I've got both stations from Menai. They seem to battle for control of the frequency around here. However, today, 92.7 belonged to Artsound FM from Canberra (obviously not what you were hearing though). Zoo FM has a much more polished sound than BAB (understandably), so I often can tell which one it is despite a lack of an ID. If there is nothing (such as announcements) between the songs, then its a safe bet you've got BAB.

    My best radios for DXing that I've got is the Sangean PR-D3L (which had quite many success stories re DXing) & my parents' Holden Astra in-built car radio (same story).

    The Astra is a good alternative to the Pioneer; its selectivity (ability to filter out splatter) is as good as the Pioneer, if a bit less sensitive. However, I got some excellent E-skip with the Astra radio last summer.

  21. Fantastic day for E's today, whilst driving around Maroubra/Coogee/La Perouse, here's what I got

    * Bumper opening to North and Central QLD (Townsville,Cairns,Mackay,Rockhampton,Emerald). 4PNN Cairns is on air on 101.1. Too many stations to list, but usual suspects such as 4TO and 4SEA.

    * Brief opening to Tassie, got 91.7, 92.5, 93.3 Mt. Barrow and 7ABCFM Hobart

    * Brief opening to South Australia, got the Spencer Gulf nationals, a weak 91.1 CHR station (either Sunshine Coast or Adelaide), and very clear 93.1 Magic FM Renmark

    * Brief opening to Victoria- "Latrobe Uni" ad heard on 99.5, could have been Traralgon or Mildura. More likely Mildura, or possibly aircraft scatter of 3TR if Traralgon. Weak 3JJJ received from Mildura on 101.1. Also got a suspiciously Vega like music mix on 91.5... could have been Melbourne aircraft scatter as it was only in for a brief time. Melbourne and the Latrobe Valley is generally too shorter distance for Sporadic E. 91.1 was heard with talks leading up to Majestic Fanfare, suspect Bendigo.

    Some tropo was about too, stations received were:

    *101.9/103.5/104.3/105.1/105.9 Batemans Bay/Moruya (yes, even Power FM was in at Coogee, first ever catch of this from Sydney!). 2EC and 2EEE (Power FM) traded places with the Orange stations every so often.

    * Every Canberra FM station booming in from south facing locations, even 1CMS 91.1 was clear. 1ART put to rest 2BAB, even in Maroubra. Even got 89.5 2ABCFM Goulburn weakly and briefly, with another station playing CHR music (possibly Valley FM Tuggeranong, or something on E-skip)

    * Usual Mt. Ulandra stations, with 89.9 2RVR peaking over 2VTR.

    What a DX day!
