  1. I have a set of 4 Telos Gold RCA mk II Quantum Caps. As new in box.
  2. SOLD pending payment in full. Thanks for all the enquiries. I've tried to reply to everyone, but apologies if I've missed someone.
  3. Further information: Matching Reference Series RCD-100 CD Player, RD-100 Preamp/DAC & RS-100 Power Amp in Silver. Components come complete with all accessories including remotes (except power amp), manuals on disc and power leads, as well as all original packaging for safe transport. With original RRP over $50K, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at the price. Will separate if no takers for the lot. PM for separate prices or questions. Those familiar with Vitus will be aware of its reputation for extraordinarily natural reproduction, beautiful engineering and comprehensive features hidden behind minimalist styling. The RCD-100 is able to play CDs using its internal DAC or via digital output to the superb RD-100 DAC. As a full-function Preamp, the RD-100 features RCA and XLR analogue as well as all types of digital inputs - Optical, Coaxial/SPDIF, AES/EBU and USB. This makes it a fairly unique and flexible model in the high end world. Its preamp section is identical to the $14K RL-101 preamp, making the addition of the DAC for only an extra $2K an absolute bargain, and a marketing mistake that Vitus have never repeated! With 300W RMS @ 8 ohms/600W RMS @ 4 ohms, the 42kg RS-100 is a beast capable of authoritatively driving any speaker, but with delicacy and refinement when required. It features front panel switching between XLR and RCA inputs. Apologies for not being able to take pics of the rear of the power amp. It's simply too heavy for me to turn around, once in place. 4. I have a UK designed PURE Digital DRX-703ES DAB/FM/AM Tuner from allegedly the world's leading manufacturer of digital tuners, Imagine Technologies. Its third generation DAB technology has full Band III (174-240MHz) and L-Band (1452-1490MHz) reception. The internal Stereo DAC is 24-bit 192kHz. Outputs are analogue stereo (as well as inputs), optical, coaxial 48 kHz S/PDIF and RDI, with a USB port for software upgrades. AM/FM is received with RDS and PTY. Features include remote control, headphone socket, rotary selection switch, easy tuning and setup with autotune, up to 99 presets per band, selectable station names and ordering, with variable display options. It's sturdily built in black, standard component size in excellent condition with all original packaging, manual and all accessories. I haven't used it, but it came to me as part of a high end system from a very critical listener, so I assume it must have been one of the best specialised DAB tuners available, with no streaming or video connections. I'm told it originally sold for over $700 so I figure $350 would be fair in this condition.
  5. Further information: Top model in Quad's current range of cone speakers in beautiful piano rosewood finish with RRP of $8600. While Quad are renowned for electrostatic speakers, these are the most exotic cone speakers that Quad have ever made, featuring their revolutionary Z-Series silky smooth ribbon tweeter. Elegantly curved enclosures reduce internal standing waves and aid the external dispersion pattern. Coupled with heavy internal bracing, the cabinets are low in unwanted resonances and high in soundstage size and openness. Hi-Fi News Nov 2016 Editor's Choice: "Naturally open and detailed sound devoid of any character traits. Tonally it's smooth with well extended bass... Ribbon tweeter is lightning fast". All accessories and packaging for safe transport are included, as is warranty. There is some external cabinet damage towards the bottom of one edge. Repair has left a small remnant, only visible close up, but nothing to affect perfect operation. See the last photo. Otherwise the pair are in virtually faultless condition. Donation to SNA on sale. 7. Further information: Isotek Sigmas GII Power Conditioner in silver with 6 US Outlets & 3 Isotek High Performance Power Cords, capable of powering a whole system. The Sigmas is the model above Aquarius and features technologies introduced in the Titan & Nova in a single chassis. It features 2 high current (max 16A) outlets with "Direct Coupled Design" from the Titan and 4 medium current (max 6A) outlets with "Adaptive Gating System" from the Nova. Some of the many features include the following: Removal of both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise RFI reduction of up to 70dB 6 separate conditioning stages ensure complete isolation between each outlet, eliminating Differential Mode cross contamination 32,000A instantaneous protection via thermo-magnetic fuse switches under chassis Internal wiring using solid core silver plated OFC copper with FEP and virtual air dielectric technology Two high current outlets incorporate "Direct Coupled" circuitry for almost unlimited transient ability of 3680W with low impedance Four medium current outlets incorporate "Adaptive Gating" which auto-senses the requirements of the connected electronics, providing the optimal level of conditioning at a maximum of 1380W continuous. Included are the following power cords: Isotek 1.5m Optimum GII High Current with US IEC-AUS mains plug to connect Sigmas to mains power (RRP $799) Isotek 1.5m Optimum GII High Current with Isotek gold IEC-US mains plug to connect Sigmas to a component (RRP $799) Isotek 1.5m Elite GII High Grade with Isotek gold IEC-US mains plug to connect Sigmas to a component (RRP $599?) Up to 4 standard IEC-US power cords can be supplied at no extra charge if needed to fill every outlet. While the conditioner and cables are in perfect operational condition, there is some minor wear to the conditioner chassis and a scratch on the lid, shown in pic 4. With original RRP around $6K, one of the main attractions of this package is the inclusion of expensive high performance power leads, without which the full potential of any mains conditioner will never be realised. However if there are no takers for the package, I'll consider selling cables separately. Donation to SNA on sale. 8. Further information: Anyone interested in this model will already know its impact on the high end audio industry. I bought a new unit from the importer a few weeks ago. Having been blown away with the cost-performance of its forerunner in the Reference Series, the RI-100, and knowing that the RI-101 mk2 has been reviewed as a bigger upgrade from the RI-101 than the RI-101 was from the RI-100, I realised that this model is likely to be a game changer for many years to come. Performance ridiculously close to the magnificent $60K SIA-030!! Feedback from a couple of experienced owners reinforced this opinion. You can read all its specs, features and reviews on the web, but one thing in particular interested me. It's rated 300W RMS @8 ohms, same as the RI-100, which has never sounded like it lacked power in my experience. However, it's been reviewed as sounding more effortless and dynamic at higher volumes, indicative of greater power supply reserves amongst other things. This particular version is the only one now current, the DAC/Streamer option being discontinued due to operational issues. The sad thing for me is that I need to sell this amp without having experienced it in my main system. With the help of the importer, I connected it up to a more basic system to confirm it's working perfectly and start the running in process. However recent medical and other expenses have accumulated to the point where I can't justify hanging onto it, especially with a Vitus Signature CD player running nicely into Boulder monos. I'm not complaining! I'd rather part with the amp before getting used to it, and assume resale will be easier with one that's basically new including packaging and accessories, plus full warranty. The other issue is its weight, as I can't lift it on my own! I'm waiting for Melbourne lockdown to end, so I can get someone to help me put it back in its carton. Currently it's sitting on the floor in its velour cover, where I took the pics. If I can't sell this for a reasonable price, other things will have to go. The importer tells me that every RI-101 mk2 available until after September has already been sold, with limited supply under global pandemic conditions. For a new buyer at current RRP of $25K, this particular sample represents a unique opportunity to buy one at a great price without having to wait. A very minor dent to a bottom corner of the front panel has just been discovered, so I've decided to drop the price by another $1K for a quick sale. The dent is too small for my photos to reveal. 9. The VTLs would be a great choice, with plenty of power at the price.
  10. Further information: Martin Logan Purity Active Speakers in beautiful cherry wood finish. Internal amplification allows easy switching from active to passive mode. With an elegantly slim and tall see-through electrostatic panel framed in black, and integrated bass module housing dual 6.5" aluminium cone woofers, these full-range speakers are a design statement. My poor photos don't do them any justice at all. Cosmetic and operational condition is perfect. This model at a bargain used price is an incredibly inexpensive entry into the world of electrostatic clarity with lower distortion than most cone speakers, as well as their renowned absence of "boxiness". The cheapest hybrid electrostatic from Martin Logan currently retails for $5499 in black. This model also has substantial bass potential which belies its size. On top of their aesthetic and performance qualities lies an exceptional range of features and flexibility. With a sensitivity of 93dB they are able to be easily driven by external amplifiers, but as part of an ultra-ergonomic lifestyle setup they can also be driven by an internal high efficiency 200W power amp. In this configuration, any source with level control can be all that's required to complete the system! Rear panel speaker or RCA input terminals allow either setup, as well as bass level control to match room acoustics. I won't go on about the wealth of features in this model, which may be accessed from the Purity manual online. As I don't have the original cartons, local pickup would be easier, but I'm happy to assist interstate buyers willing to pay for packing and freight. I've priced the speakers with this finish and condition accordingly. Donation to SNA on sale.
