  1. I purchased this unit from Absolute Hi End 4 years ago and it has been functioning as it should be. I have the original box, so shipment is not a problem. This unit has great flexibility in setting the loading & gain, and so it can do it all including working in battery mode. Specifications: Gain Switches: 40, 44, 46, 48, 50, 51.5, 52.7, 53.7, 56, 57.5, 58.4, 59.4, 60dB Input Loading Switches: 200pF, 300pF, 30, 40, 50, 59, 80, 100, 121, 150, 243, 280, 380, 475, 660, 1k, 2k, 50k, 100k Ohms Discrete, dual mono circuitry Some reviews can be found: https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/musical-surroundings-nova-ii-phono-preamplifier https://theaudiophileman.com/musical-surroundings-nova-ii-phono-amplifier-hear-silence/

  3. As the weather is warming up, the static build up on records is back again. I've tried the plasma lighter way to deal with that and surprisingly it gives good result. So before you decide to buy the Zersostat, have a go with this method 😉
  4. Further information: Bought this setup from fellow SNA member last year, but due to family committment, lack of time to appreciate it. So, I have decided to sell it. . Rega P9 with PSU in excellent condition. Comes with original box. . RB1000 Tonearm with upgraded Cardas Cartridge Clips (better contact and easier to mount cartridge) . Ortofon 2M Black has been utilized 400~500 hours, as told by last owner. I have not use it since then, as I prefer my own cartridges. So, it still has plenty of life left and comes with original box. Excellent match with the RB1000 tonearm, even without any spacer! . Original dustcover has minor wear, due to it's age but still very presentable. Photos:

  8. Wow, I didn't expect the interest is so prompt. Both pairs reserved, pending payment.
  9. The price is for one pair, I have 2 pairs for sale. They are newly bought from Singapore via the following link: https://www.carousell.sg/p/high-end-authentic-western-electric-rca-interconnects-1097584339/?t-id=14280695_1630411408965&t-referrer_browse_type=search_results&t-referrer_request_id=2haFrXsNxwiSjwdl&t-referrer_search_query=western electric rca&t-referrer_sort_by=popular Rest assure that they are genuine NOS Western Electric cable, as I am currently using the 1.5 meter version. I am only selling it, as it is too short for my new setup.

  11. I'm in luck as I've found the sweet spot, after knowing the SRA is preferred to be 90 deg and VTA at 20 deg. I used a 10X loupe to verify the SRA visually and then fine tune the VTA, by adjusting the tracking force, starting from the default of 1.8g, in steps of 0.1g. Once the tracking force reached 1.75g, the entire soundstage just opens up! Anything less than that, the soundstage just can't make it. And I'm still running without any shim on the tonearm i.e. tail down. I can conclude that the Art9XI cartridge is not bass shy, at least on my setup. Enjoying my Miles Davis now🙂
