  1. Item: Schiit Ragnarok 2 Price Range: Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: fully loaded version preferably
  2. Would you consider separating them? I'm only interested in the gen3. Which switch type is in the gen3?
  3. Hey, I'm looking for some advice on what stands to buy for my LS50's. I'm using them in a nearfield/desk type setup, but due to limited desk space I'd like to put stands either side of the desk rather than keeping the speakers on the desk. My budget is ~$300, and I'm looking for a height of around 80cm to get the speakers at ear height. I'm considering this model at the moment: http://melbournehifi.com.au/collections/accessories/products/norstone-stylum-3 Let me know your suggestions/recommendations, Cheers!
  4. I noticed you previously had these listed as a package with an XS30SE subwoofer. Any chance you still have the sub? And if so would you consider selling it separately? I'm definitely interested if so
  5. Thanks guys, I've PM'd you both. Still open to other options if anyone else has anything they're looking to move on
  6. Hi. I'm looking for a budget phono stage. Something like a Rega Fono MM or GSP Communicator, I'm open to options though. Please let me know what you have in this price range. Thanks
  7. Ah, devastated I missed this, I've looking around for a decent sub for a while If the sale falls through for whatever reason let me know
  8. Well the turntable isn't technically on my desk, it's on a set of drawers next to my desk This setup is my main setup. I'm sharing an apartment with 2 other people so I don't want to take over the living area with a bunch of hifi gear, haha. I have been considering changing my speakers to near-field monitors. I'm currently using some Wharfedale bookshelf speakers, which probably isn't really ideal for a desk-based setup...
  9. Hey all. I'm trying to consolidate my desktop audio setup into a smaller package. Below is my current setup: Sources are my PC and a Rega P3 turntable. The PC is connected via SPDIF to a Schiit Bifrost DAC. The DAC goes to a Schiit Asgard headamp for my headphones, and also to an old Onkyo HT receiver for my bookshelf speakers. And the Rega is hooked up to the phono input on the Onkyo. The Onkyo and Schiit gear take up a lot of desk space so I want to replace them with an all-in-one unit. I've been thinking about going for a Wyred4Sound Mini Integrated or Peachtree Nova 125, plus an entry level phono stage like the Project Phono Box. Either of those should give me the ability to hook up all my sources and outputs in a single package. I'm leaning more towards the mINT for the smaller footprint, but are there any other options I should also be considering?
  10. Did anyone see Brand New - Deja Entendu in their travels?
  11. This is brand new in box and unopened. I got it as a gift with my new phone plan but I don't really have a use for it so I'm moving it on. It uses a bluetooth connection with any smartphone/tablet/etc as the source, and outputs sound via a 4x driver + 2x passive radiator setup. For full details/specs see the product page here: www.harmankardon.com/onyxstudio I'm looking for $200 but am open to offers. I'm happy to ship the item at the buyers expense. I estimate shipping to be roughly $25 via AusPost. Thanks for looking
  12. Still looking. I guess there aren't too many of these units around
  13. Hi. I'm looking to consolidate my desktop setup into a single, smaller device and the Wyred 4 Sound mINT (mini Integrated) looks like it'll fit the bill nicely. If you have one that your thinking about letting go please let me know and hopefully we can work something out. I'm based in Canberra, but am happy to pay postage if there's an offer from interstate. Cheers!
  14. Well... I ended up buying it! It seems to be in pretty good condition. It could do with a wipe down though, you can probably see some fingermarks and dust on the plinth in the photo above. I'm not quite sure whats with the white line along the front edge in the photo. It doesn't look like that in real life, I guess it's just the light catching on it weirdly. Anyway, I didn't notice any issues in the inspection, like bearing/motor noise or the cart not being straight. It looks like it's been pretty well looked after. The seller was an audio enthusiast and had a lot of other gear and seemed like a guy who takes good care of his stuff. The owner had bought it secondhand about 18 months ago, I'm not sure about the history prior to that. During that time he had it checked out/balanced at a local hifi place and original belt was replaced with the white belt. It came with a RB300 tonearm and Elys cart, which I think are standard on P3's? I paid $425 for it. I think that's a pretty reasonable price going by prices in the classifieds and completed eBay listings. I'm pretty happy with the purchase so far. The only downside is that upgraditis is probably going to kick in for the rest of my system. I'm currently running the P3 through an old Onkyo AV receiver to some cheap Wharfedale bookshelfs. Definitely some room for improvement there I think.
  15. Thanks for the tips Krispy, they'll come in handy! ^ I hadn't even considered that, great tip! I'll be looking at a P3. According to the owner it's in pretty good nick, but I'll know more when I see it tomorrow. I think they usually go for around $400-500 on the classifieds here?
  16. Hey guys, I'm going to check out a secondhand Rega tomorrow and I was wondering if there was anything I should be on the look out for? I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to vinyl so any tips/questions I should ask the owner would be great
  17. Thanks djb, I'll go check out those other forum sections. My current amp does have phono inputs so I should be ok there. Cheers
  18. EDIT: I'm no longer looking, have bought locally. Thanks all for the offers How do I close the thread? Hey all. I'm looking for an entry level turntable. Preferably located in Canberra but if postage costs are reasonable I'd be more than happy to take something from interstate. My budget is roughly $500. I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to vinyl so any suggestions/advice on what I should be looking for would also be great.
  19. Unfortunately I can't make it to Sydney, so I'll only be hitting my local stores. Both have posted lists of what they're getting in but neither had the stuff I really wanted I don't suppose there's a buy/trade thread for people who can't get releases they want locally? I'm jonesing for that Glitch Mob set...
