  1. Further information: For some reason I've had many incarnations of Apollo racks and still use the wider ones in a Home Theatre setup. Always been hesitant to part with them as I still think they look kind of stylish with the dark gunmetal and glass shelving but I had a custom American Walnut rack made for gear at home (big ups to A.R.C Cabinet Making in Marrickville!) so this is overkill for my office. Would be reluctant to ship as you'd need to be a packaging guru to ship 5 x glass shelves safely and this is one HEAVY RACK. Contactless pickup in either Glebe/Broadway BH or Earlwood AH. Photos: modulartab.pdf
  2. Further information: Downsizing at work and don't find myself staying back and cranking the tunes much more anyway. These have been very easy to drive with a surprisingly good sound for their pricepoint. Original RRP of over $900. Pickup contactless either Broadway/Glebe BH or Earlwood AH. MARTINLOGAN.MOTION.12 .40–25,000 Hz ± 3 dB 80° x 80° 92 dB @ 2.83 volts/ meter 4 Ohms. Open back dipole. Two 6.5” (16.5cm) paper cone with cast aluminum basket. Non- resonant asymmetrical chamber format. Ported with dipole mid-range. Tweeter thermal/current protection. 20–300 watts Push style with banana jacks 36 lbs. (16.3 kg) 42.8” x 7” x 14.1” (108.7cm x 17.8cm x 35.8cm) Photos: brochure_motion12.pdf
  3. Further information: The start of the hi-fi journey, my first amplifier bought with savings just after leaving school. I had high hopes I could pass it on to my children but nooooo, they want an all-in-one singing and dancing streaming solution. Not getting the love it needs in my office so needs to go to a good home. Pickup contactless either Ultimo/Broadway BH or Earlwood AH. Happy to ship anywhere in Aust for $20. Original packaging intact. Photos:
  4. With a recent upgrade from my Naim streaming Pre-amp to the latest streamer, I formed the opinion that I had too much coin wrapped up in the pre-amp stage of my system (including power supply) and with the streaming component being redundant, purchased this preamp to bridge that gap. What was I thinking? Rule #1 of Hi Fi - you never take a backwards step. The NAC N-272 has a superb preamp and that silky volume knob has me not able to part with it. This pre-amp is in near-new pristine condition and comes with original packaging, owners manual, DIN cable and remote. Please note that you will need a power supply or existing Naim power amp to juice this unit. Photos:
  5. Further information: Photos: Almost as much loved as my legendary audiophilleo, this device has given Roon endpoint functionality to an older Naim streamer. And what a job it does, it just works - plug it in to your network and away you go with many different options. I've now moved to a Roon Server so this is superfluous to my needs. Still running 2.7 firmware but an easy upgrade to 2.8 which I believe is the latest. Original packaging, original tax invoice and power supply is included. Reviews etc -
  6. Further information: The one, the only version of speaker that helped drive Richter's reputation as a Hi-Fi manufacturer globally. If you are looking at these then they need no introduction. Well loved over the years and treated gently, they still have life in them and deserve to go to a receptive home. They still function perfectly although the MDF enclosure has a few chips and a little bit of swelling at the bottom from floor mopping over the years and subsequent water exposure. Floor spikes and both speaker grilles included with the sale. Woofers: 1 bass, one mid/bass 160mm critically damped curvilinear paper cone, long-life rubber surrounds Tweeter: 25mm ferro fluid cooled, elliptical textile dome Crossover: Incorporates polypropelene non-ageing, self-healing signal pass capacitors with ultra-low loss characteristics, zerodistortion air-cored inductors, 3-way asymmetric Enclosure: 42 litre bass reflex filled with long-haired sheep wool, heavy 3-way binding post connection, high density MDF board Frequency response: 44Hz–22Khz ±3dB Sensitivity: 90 dB/watt, on-axis @ 1 metre Nom. impedance: 4 Ohms Rec.amp power: max 125 watts RMS Dimensions (mm): H 795, W 230, D 295 Pickup either Glebe (BH) or Earlwood (AH)
  7. Deposit paid, pickup pending. Thanks everyone for your interest. I'll try not to shed a tear when it finally goes. It's been a trooper, can heartily recommend Bryston gear from my experience.
  8. Further information: Looking for some additional heft and slam in your isolation listening? This is the amplifier you are looking for, with the sonic hallmarks of a low noise floor and an 'iron fisted control' over bass frequencies, coupled with a neutral presentation and beautiful sound stage and detail. If you are in the market for one then you already know the reputation of this product and how it is still used as a benchmark product in the recording industry. This amplifer is in excellent condtion, there are a few bumps and scratches on the exterior but nothing visible from a distance. Couple this with Bryston's legendary 20 year transferable warranty that is still applicable and you have the peace of mind in a product that the manufacturer has the utmost faith to stand by. It has been serviced in the last 2 years by the authorised Bryston warranty service centre in Sydney so has a clean bill of health, there is no reason it will not last another 20 years. To emphasise also, It is the Professional version, not the original 4B as this version is much better as well as superior to the original 4BST. The amplifer comes from a smoke free home and has been well looked after. To be honest, I have moved to a full Naim system so this has been sitting on my rack for a while unused but looks so damn good in your system I'm almost reluctant to part with it. Suffice to say, it is built like a tank and with its weight of near 25kg I will be sending via my local Pack & Send with full insurance and registration (Aust Post will not deal with these weights). I will keep this delivery charge at a flat rate of $130 to anywhere in Australia with the original packaging intact. Specifications - Design: Two-Channel Solid State Power Amplifier (True DUAL-MONO design) Power Output: 300 Watts RMS x 2 into 8 Ohms/500 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms/900 Watts bridged into 8 Ohms MFR: 1 Hz – 100 kHz Inputs: RCA Unbalanced, XLR Balanced Input Impedance: 50 kOhms Unbalanced, 20 kOhms Balanced THD+N: 0.003% Dimensions: 5.25″ H x 17.25″ W x 19″ D Weight: 50 Pounds Max. 9. Further information: This amplifier has been used in an office environment for some time and is not getting the usage it deserves so needs a better home. Described by reviewers as a "SuperNait in the slimmer casework of the series S" it has all the hallmarks of the Naim sound that people search for. Features such as a powered input to power a phono pre-amp and AV bypass for incorporating into a home theatre setup all add to its appeal. It is in pristine condition and has been well looked after. Original packaging and remote is included in the sale. Please note that the packaging with serial indicates it is an XS 2 version and the serial number would support that as being introduced in 2013. I don't have the time or inclination to research the differences so am advertising it as an XS. Audition is possible during business hours and I can ship Australia wide for a flat rate of $40 insured and registered. Photos:

  11. Item: Elijah Audio Isolaate BL USB Y-cable 500mm and battery pack Location: Glebe, NSW Price: $80 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: No longer needed Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Currently retailing for A$250 (plus extra for the battery pack), this hand made cable has received rave reviews since its release (go google them!). If your DAC or SPDIF converter is currently powered through a USB cable, the ISOLAATE BL cable will allow you to enjoy improved sound quality that clean battery power delivers – a more open, dynamic and organic sound. Hand dyed 100% cotton outer sleeve on main cable with a combination of Mundorf Silver/Gold and Cardas quad solder securing the terminations.
