  1. That's it. The fiddleback looks nice when it's polished. There's a few other shots of some Troels Gravesen cabinets I made for one of the members of the forum as well. Their in there somewhere. Cheers, Larry
  2. This was what my brother was playing until he passed away in 2000. He played in a similar style to Larry Carlton. Cheers ,van der.

  8. I would be very surprised if these units are made of solid oak. If you read their advert., they use solid edgings to protect. A good idea when using veneered board. I have been doing it for more than 40 years in my own work. Veneered board with solid edges is a very good way to make panels but it should not be passed off as solid wood. I make a point of informing my customers how things are made. This does not denigrate the product in any way. Cheers.,
  9. Hi Geoff, I didn't respond earlier because it looked like you had it sorted. I have made cabinets for a few of the members here as well as many others. My own cabinets are shown on the wood thread. I have a small custom joinery business in Langwarrin. Happy to talk to you about your job. Cheers, Larry
  10. Hi Brian, I have a Denon AVC-A1 for sale. Don't know how close this is to what you are looking for, but you are welcome to look at it. I am in Langwarrin. Cheers, Larry.
  11. I had the original crossovers updated, so I imagine components were replaced with improved ones. I don't know anything about electronics, so I can not tell you anything about what was done. Whatever he did, it made a big improvement. The new crossovers are still in the original hard plastic case. Cheers, Larry
  12. Hi Drew, I bought mine secondhand in about 1978. I think they were a few years old then. Speakers are original but I had new crossovers made a few years ago, which made a considerable improvement. Cheers, Larry
  13. Hi Drew, I have 12" gold monitors but I won't attempt to describe their sound, but you are welcome to listen to them. I'm in Langwarrin, which is a pleasant drive from the city. You can see a couple of photos of them on page 2 of the wood thread. Cheers, Larry
  14. I have built a pair of DTQWT mark2 for WINEDS, one of the members here. You can see them on page 23 of the DTQWT thread. Happy to talk to you about doing a build. Cheers, Larry
