These little snippets of info are particularly good in a forum where something doesn't necessarily justify a thread.
Give a whirl for yourself, and share an image of a new item or something of interest - which can even link back to your Showcase thread or similar.
You can upload images or videos (within the size limitations), or you can use external links to images or videos. Note - you can not link to a YouTube video - that simply just doesn't work via the external video URL feature by design.
