TOP OF THE RANGE Automatic Turntable. Works Beautifully!

100V (Japanese Version) Small Step down transformer required to operate which is $50
The Victor QL-Y7, released in Japan in 1981 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a somewhat less well-known direct-drive turntable. It features all of the great characteristics you’d expect from a Japanese “Golden Era” turntable, including a high-quality build and some great technical innovations. A salient feature of the QL-Y7 is the electro-dynamic (ED) servo tonearm. The tonearm vibration is electronically detected, and then the opposite force is applied to cancel the vibration in horizontal and vertical axes. In this manner, vibrations are cancelled, and stylus pressure and anti-skating are controlled. The QL-Y7 has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 78 dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of 0.01% WRMS. The QL-Y7 features a double servo quartz circuit to control the motor, for stable platter rotation. Additionally, the turntable has a handsome vintage design. Overall, it’s a phenomenal unit!
This turntable is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use (please see photos) .
