Hi Everyone, 

I'm in the process of assisting a close friend liquidate a vast majority of his Hi Fi and AV equipment as he has recently transitioned into Aged Care and unfortunately cannot take the majority of his equipment with him to the centre.  We are currently in the process of cleaning out his apartment and have not come across any paperwork for the purchase of this item, but if we find such paper work after this advert is posted, it will be included.

This Panasonic DMR-HW220 is essentially a twin HD digital tuner that has 1 Terabyte of HDD storage for recording either 140 hrs of HD content or 264 hrs of SD content from any of the digital free to air channels that can be received. It also has a USB port and SD Card slot to be able to play plugged in external memory storage mediums as well.  I believe my friend purchased this unit from The Good Guys appliance store at Lutwyche back in 2013 and it only had occasional use as he later replaced his TV viewing with a Foxtel iQ box and this PVR was then stored away in a cupboard until I recently discovered it during the clear out of his home. Comes supplied with the factory remote that also has Panasonic TV remote controls if you happen already have a Panasonic TV.  I have tested this digital recorder with my own Panasonic LCD TV for approximately 30 mins by using the intuitative functions to watch via it's tuner and briefly record content on the fly, works as expected and I was able to clear/delete the content afterwards.... The included remote control handset also has basic TV controls for a Panasonic branded TV which I happen to own and it worked well during testing.
