EXPIRED For Sale SME V Tonearm

Hi Everyone, 

I'm in the process of assisting a close friend liquidate a vast majority of his Hi Fi equipment as he is transitioning into Aged Care Centre shortly and unfortunately cannot take the majority of his equipment with him to the centre.  We are currently in the process of cleaning out his apartment and have not come across any paperwork for the purchase of this item, but if we find such paper work after this advert is posted, it will be included.

My friend tells me he recalls purchasing this SME V Tonearm new ( it was the last one in the country as this was about 6 months after SME Ltd UK announced they will stop selling their tonearms as separate accessories ) via a phone order from Sonic Purity based in Abbotsford, Victoria and road freighted it to Brisbane in early April 2021. Even though we are yet to find the purchase receipt, the shipping label on the factory shipping carton confirms this information. I have tested this SME V tonearm on 4x LP’s that I played and it works as expected for one of the greatest tonearms that’s had only between 50 to 80hrs of total use.

It comes as a bare tonearm and MC phono cable and all the original mounting tools and screws in the double OEM box, no cartridge supplied ( see my other listings if you are after a cartridge, phono stage or turntable )
