This is correct.

The amount of Class A here is minimal and only because it can be honestly described as AB. it's as close to a Class B amp as possible.

Notwithstanding this, it is a superbly natural  and (unlike some other so called premium  AB amps ) not at all fatiguing or harsh.

The specifications are very conservative as well and this should easily drive virtually any pair of speaker that you care to use with it.
