VINYL LINK DIN Tonearm cable

We are great believers in Analogue Audio and have been producing custom cable looms and rewiring tonearms since the late 90’s. Sonic Art produces a range of high performance Cable assemblies for tonearms known as the VINYL LINK range.

The VINYL LINK tonearm cable is made from a high quality commercial Japanese made cable with hi purity annealed OFC conductors. Conductors are insulated with irradiated polyethylene which results in a low capacitance cable that exhibits excellent frequency response. The conductors are orientated  and twisted for low noise and damped with natural fillers. The conductor assembly is covered in a heavy braided copper shield which offers 95%+ shielding, and insulated with a flexible pvc jacket. The DIN plug is custom made by Sonic Art. It features a Cardas pin section comprised of teflon encased gold plated copper alloy pins, this is fitted to a custom machined alloy body we make in-house, it is standard DIN size of 11.8mm body and should fit all arms that take DIN plugs. Wiring is standard tonearm DIN with outer pins hot, inner pins cold, centre pin arm earth to your phono stage. We can make the cable with other orientations if required, just email us!
