Further Information

For sale is a Musical Surroundings Phonomena II+ phono pre-amplifier from the US in terrific condition. Bang for buck, this is a winner. I've been using it with my Thorens TD125ii for over five years. Delightful. Very flexible in terms of loadings/settings. Lovely vinyl audio reproduction.

Why is this one $900? Because I didn't use the wall wart PS (but you can have too, it's in the original box, somewhere up there). Clay Gieseler worked his magic and adapted one of his LPSUs to match the Phonomena II+ and it is simply better than you'll get with the wall wart. They are being sold together.

Absolute Sound made it an Editor's Choice for phonos under $2k in 2015 (other years too, I think): https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/2015-editors-choice-phonostages-under-2000/

From MS themselves (it has, of course, been superseded in the new line-up by the III): https://musicalsurroundings.com/products/musical-surroundings-phonomena-2-plus-phono-stage

The sale is plus postage (I think I still have the original box for the Phonomena, somewhere).

Why am I selling it? Only because I picked up a Yamaha C-2a pre-amp with its "legendary" in-built phono stage. If I could justify keeping both, I would.
