Further Information

RRP $4999.00 Performance DC Wood Turntable

RRP $4050.00 Tracer 9 Inch Carbon Tonearm.

Updated with new photos showing the spindle now perfectly aligned with the platter. Who's a git?

As new - no marks or scratches to be found anywhere.

This is one of the best turntables I've owned and probably the best looking - it's gorgeous. It's so beautifully made also, as are all Clearaudio products.

Please note:

The tonearm will not be separated from the table;

The cartridge is not included.

Turntable purchased new without tonearm from Addicted to Audio 12/09/2023. This is the more expensive wood plinth version sandwiched between two aluminium plates.

The tonearm was purchased secondhand from Audio Connection on 2/08/2023. It's in excellent condition with no visible marks or scratches anywhere. - presents as new.

Played about 100 records in the time I've had it. Ceramic magnetic bearing; higher grade wood plinth which is much denser than the standard plinths; adjustable speed control; one touch speed settings on the top of the plinth; compatible with the Professional Power 12V or SmartPower battery version.

Comes with original box and all inclusions apart from the bearing oil - you will have to purchase some. There is a cutout in the foam of the turntable box to accommodate a tonearm and the Tracer fits in nicely.

Performance DC Wood - Black

From Clearaudio:

An enhanced version of the Performance DC with wood chassis offers even greater resonance control. A newly developed DC motor with high precision bearings and flat belt-drive, in conjunction with a platter of 40mm thick POM which rests on a Clearaudio ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB), provide optimal conditions for the correct sampling of the record groove.

Tracer 9 Inch Carbon Fibre Tonearm

Comes with the following, exactly as I purchased it:

1. Original counterweight
2. Additional counterweight 37g two flat head screws
3. Tonearm base + 3 screws

From Clearaudio:

Drawing on engineering tricks from the finest watchmakers, it features a high-precision, lowfriction jeweled bearing, judiciously crafted from tungsten and sapphire. The carbon tonearm tube is both extremely rigid and very lightweight, giving a perfect combination of stability and agility. What’s more, the Tracer’s elegance does not come at the expense of usability – on the contrary.

Price is firm - low ballers politely ignored.

Hi, yes, perfectly 100% normal for the Performance DC. Platter is sitting at the correct height.

Well, this is hilarious. I had the sub platter upside down. I’ll upload photos after this.
