The VK-55SE is a 55 Wpc valve power amplifier that uses four 6C33C-B triodes in push-pull mode.  BAT introduced the 6C33Cs and 6H30s to the West in the 1990s and probably have more experience with them than any other company.  The amp also uses 6H30s and 6SN7s.  It comes with three new power valves and one that may or may not be faulty (I have no way of testing it).

 

The amp is 4 1/2 years' old and has done little work, mainly driving a a pair of MF Superchargers.  I sold the Superchargers in 2021 and it hasn't been used since then.  I am the original owner and have the original packing, so shipping is no problem. I have the original receipt from Audio Heaven.

 

The sound of this amp is superb, with great bass slam.  It would suit someone in the market for a high-powered triode amp.
