For sale is my Sonneteer Alabaster integrated amplifier. This is a superb sounding amplifier that I have been keeping as a back up, but as it is hardly ever used, I have decided to sell it.

The amplifier is in excellent condition, with only very minor marks (see photos), and comes with the original box. It is a genuinely superb sounding amp, and competes with some much more expensive amplifiers. It puts out 55 watts into 8 ohms, and 100 watts into 4 ohms, and as is typical with British amps, sounds very fast and dynamic, while maintaining tonal richness.

Pick up from Cammeray is available, or I am happy to post at the buyer's cost and risk.

I am also open to reasonable offers.

Tone

The Alabaster’s sound is beguiling, and this integrated amp is piece of gear to be enjoyed for many years to come. The warmth of its sonic character will help it mate well with many sources. If a prospective buyer does not require bells and whistles like a built-in DAC, networking connectivity, variable outputs for a subwoofer, or a remote control, this may be the integrated amplifier he or she has been seeking. I recommend it wholeheartedly, and it handily deserves a 2017 TONEAudio Exceptional Value Award.

Hifi World

The Alabaster is an extremely impressive device. With that elusive combination of a sweet mellifluous, musical sound with sledgehammer 'speaker driving ability, it could be just what you've always wanted - I know I wasn't too happy about having to give it back. It's one red-hot amp, and I don't just mean the heat-sink casing.
