Hi Everyone,
I'm in the process of assisting a close friend liquidate a vast majority of his Hi Fi equipment as he is transitioning into Aged Care Centre shortly and unfortunately cannot take the majority of his equipment with him to the centre.
My friend reminded me that he purchased this item new from Audio Tailor when they were based at Old Cleveland Rd, Camp Hill. Brisbane. I do recall that it was around mid 2017 and I tried to talk him out of buying it as he didn’t really understand audio compression files or how to rip and or stream. Anyway, he went ahead and bought it anyway and I helped him connect everything at his place and even downloaded 3x FLAC files onto a USB memory stick for him to have a play and demo. He tried looking for audio files online to purchase, but couldn’t find what he wanted and quickly lost interest. This unit was turned off and never turned on again until last weekend when I turned it on to test and update the unit’s firmware and I would estimate it's been used no more than a few hours of playback when initially purchased and then shelved.
This streamer comes in the factory OEM packaging ( aged ) and a IEC power cable, USB dongle for WiFi connection, remote control and instruction booklet.
Here's some specifications that I copied from an online review from What Hi Fi in a year that this unit garnered their 5 STAR award

Inside, the CXN features the latest Stream Magic module and a DAC based on 2 Wolfson WM8742 DACs and featuring Cambridge Audio’s proprietary 2nd-generation ATF2 upsampling technology to upsample the incoming audio to 24-bit, 384KHZ.
The CXN supports MP3, WMA, AAC (including AAC Plus and HE AAC), OGG, ALAC, FLAC and WAV file formats at up to 24-bit, 192KHZ. Over 20,000 radio stations are onboard as well as Spotify connect, Apple Airplay, and built-in USB and UPNP media streaming. ASX, M3U and PLS playlists are supported; though despite the CXN having a queueing feature, playlists created on the unit cannot, for now at least, be saved for later recall.
Like the Stream Magic units before it, the CXN offers 2 power modes. Network standby mode keeps the network and micro controller circuits active allowing the streamer to be power cycled via the app, while an eco mode shuts down all circuits, reducing the streamer’s stands power consumption to a an eco-friendly 0.5W and requiring the streamer be brought in and out of standby via the remote control or the front-panel power button. The standby mode can be configured in the settings. Network standby mode is active by default; in this mode, a long press of the power button will shut the streamer down entirely. As with the rest of the CX range, an automatic power down feature puts the streamer into standby mode after a period of inactivity, configurable in the settings.
The CXN also features Spotify Connect and internet radio, so you have access to a few million songs from around the globe. All digital inputs on the CXN are capable of playing high-resolution files of up to 24-bit/192kHz, and they can be upsampled to 384kHz, too. That includes the USB type B input for your laptop, and the optical and coaxial inputs. There’s also a pair each of RCA and balanced XLR outputs, along with two digital outputs.
Edited this advert as during the process of cleaning out his apartment, I have managed to find the original purchase receipt for this component and it will be included, please see last photo. You can also see on the invoice that the original purchase price was more than what I had estimated what the retail purchase price was at that time.
