Further Information

Up for sale my passive isobariks that i have kept for many years but it's now time to move them on due to the lack of space / renovations

They have been lightly used over they last couple of years with all drivers in perfect condition

They sound fantastic and are currently paired with Naim Nap 250s

Happy to demo to serious buyer

The B110 mids have all been swapped out  with replacements from Falcon Acoustics this set me back around $1200 link below

Cabinets are in decent condition with all the grills

The only thing missing are the stands which can still be sourced online

I understand they like some power?  Ever heard them with tubes? Just Tyre kicking to be honest, although I’d love a pair if they’d play nicely with a Radford tube power amp.

The only tubes I had connected were Quad 2 monos a few years back and they sounded great.

They are an "over damped" Isobaric bass design, and like amps that are low in damping factor (DF) to equal them out as not to sound bass light, like they can do with of all things ME amps, they sound like the ME had no bass drive which we all know is their strength with normally damped designed speakers.

So 100w> low feedback tubes are good, as are Naim 250 mk-1 monoblocks, as they only had a DF of around 20 (.4ohm output impedance) This stops the Isobarics from sounding bass shy, even though they are meant to be up against the back wall.

Cheers George
