The ZenWiFi AX XT8 system consists of a pair of ASUS AX6600 WiFi 6 routers, featuring unique technologies that give you superfast, reliable and secure WiFi connections.

This solution provides maximum coverage of WiFi for your home enabling back-haul over a separate WiFi band from your device access WiFi band so as not to inhibit performance. They can operate as a router and access point or just as an access point. They also have additional Ethernet switch ports included for providing hardwired connectivity should your nearby devices need it. I have had one connected to my ISP router and linked over in-wall Ethernet to its twin the other end of my 32 square house. I get full 5GHz and 2.4GHz coverage of a single WiFi SSID that provides coverage even out in my street and in the garden. No dead spots.

Simply plug one of the Asus boxes into your ISP's provided network equipment using a stock Ethernet patch cable (I am including the original patch cable that came with the pack and an extra one to give you more options), position the second Asus device within a couple of meters of the first one and power it up. Wait for the lights to indicate they are ready to configure and download the Asus app on your Android or IOS device then follow the in-app instructions. Once configured, you can move the second Asus device elsewhere in your house to provide the coverage you need. THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET IS ALSO INCLUDED. There are numerous "how to" videos to aid in the simple setup too.

You can elect to back-haul over WiFi on the separate band, or if you already have Ethernet cabling installed in-wall, you can opt to use that cabling to provide the back-haul and give yourself another WiFi band dedicated to device use (PC, Mac, streamer, iPhones, Androids, tablets, Foxtel etc etc). This has been my use case over the last year or so and it has been excellent.
