Dear stereonet community. Add re-written as I had the veneer refinished.

I present to you a pair of lovingly restored JBL 4320. I acquired these from the original owner late last year.

These JBL 4320 were upgraded to the 4333 version by adding the famed JBL crystal slot tweeter (077/2405) a few years after the original purchase in 1976 I have the original paperwork and receipts. 

What I had done in 2024:

The speakers had the surrounds replaced my QSR and the drivers were tested and checked, a check over of the caps and cross over was also undertaken, all are in perfect working order. There was no need to replace anything according to QSR.

The cabinets were restored by a JBL fanatic, he replaced the veneer with American walnut and oiled them. We noticed some small imperfections and had a veneer expert tidy them up to near perfect condition now. please see video.

I also had the grills replaced and the terminals upgraded to modern terminal.

We kept it as original as possible otherwise.

They look as good as new in person and sound absolutely stunning. Even from my 6w SET amp. mids and highs sparkle beautifully. Give it 20 watts and you have a bass thumping with super punchy mids.

If you are looking for a very close to original pair of 1970s JBLs these might be the ones.

I am in absolutely no hurry to sell. But I simply don't have space for them in this room and will part with them for the asking price.

They are very large, i can organise transport within 100km of Buderim 4556 - they only just fit in the tray of a normal ute. I can organise shipping interstate at your cost if you need.
