The model 317 integrated amplifier uses an identical power amplifier circuit to the 214 power amplifier.  

The unit has 6 line inputs, including 2 tape in/outputs with dubbing facilities.

By removing the links between the pre-out and main-in sockets the pre-amplifier section can be separated from the power amplifier for easy upgrades.
