I imported this Sansui from Japan so it is a 100 volt unit, you will need a step down transformer to use it in Australia (example link below, please do not buy a unit under 1000W)

This is a nice sounding unit, all of the mid range magic of the standard 607 models but with the bass of a 707 and a little more in the way of detail retrieval and resolution.  Please note this is a 1991 model.  I have had it looked over by a local tech, it has been tested and found to be fully functional, no faults found.  I feel confident in offering a 3 month warranty to any potential purchasers (any potential warranty claim will require the amp to be returned to me prior to a refund being given). 

The 607 MOS Premium was a 15th anniversary model brought out to celebrate the start of the then current model series of Sansuis (607, 707, 907) and as was Sansui's habit all of the special edition models were MOS, or MOSFET, designs.  All the info and specs are available in the second link below so I'll just summarize here.

The 607 MOS Premium is a 45wpc version of the usually 90wpc 607 series units.  Although this appears to be a downgrade in power output it does not sound anything like a downgrade at all.  It sounds more-so like an increase in resolution and clarity in both the mid range and bass regions.  It is, in short, a very nice listen.

More stuff to note, Sansuis on the late 80's and early to mid 90's will not accept banana plugs (unless they are very solid and you stick them through the binding posts in the same way as you would bare wire, hollow styles of banana plugs should not be used (unless you are OK with squashing them flat that is, if so then use away).  Spades are fine.

There is obviously no original box but I do have many boxes that have been used to transport Sansui amps previously and I will pack to the best of my ability.
