This is a very, very good tube amp ........   a delicate yet powerful integrated amp with 100 Watts per channel .......  a beautiful thing to look at and gorgeous to hear ....... 

- 4 and 8 ohms output impedence so plenty of flexibility for your particular speakers

There is no original packaging, and given the weight, I would be very reluctant to send this , so I am giving preference to local pick up at this stage  ............    will advise if this situation changes.

Amp will be supplied with original stock tubes PLUS ( at my expense , meaning this additional cost of $320 for  the upgraded tubes will be absorbed by me ) a Pair of Mullard tubes and a single Raytheon tube .....    these tubes significantly improved the performance of the amp at all levels.  ..........    Please see the Stereonet Amplifier Forum under.  " Consonance ( Opera Audio ) Owners Thread "   to read in detail the tube rolling experience of the SNA member Craka from whom I bought this amp  ( a real gentleman and audio fan ) ........    I know nothing about tubes as this was my first venture into the Dark Arts of the glowing Tube. ...... so it was extremely helpful and reassuring to read plenty of expert opinion and real life experiences with this particular amp being sold..............     good to see the great admiration of the Consonance brand in general and this specific Cyber 880i  integrated in this Forum thread.

Why am I selling this amp which I believe to be a very, very good amp at a realistic price  ......    as mentioned before, this is my first valve amp ........    and I have always been tempted to try that " special " tube sound that is respected in the many forums .........    so I did it .....  did plenty of research and arrived at this Consonance Cyber 880i which had excellent reviews and big support from the Stereonet community .....drove to Brisbane to secure this beauty and bought it.    Yet from the start of this adventure I knew there was a showdown in the wings ...........    I have had my Musical Fidelity TriVista 300 for 14 years and it is an exceptional  amp  at any price  ( it cost $12,000 in 2002 at Len Wallis )  ...........  ran the Consonance and the TriVista head to head for a week and found after much anxiety  that it was the TriVista I would be keeping  ........  the Consonance really surprised me with its gorgeous vocals and powerful grip on the bass .......    it is indeed a very refined amp ...... In the end, perhaps it was the particular synergy between the Musical Fidelity and my Yamaha NS 5000 speakers that finally broke the deadlock ( and also  the TriVista had a unique tube output in the preamp section so it already had that tubed airiness I was seeking )     ..........    at Craka's place, he played  his Osborn speakers, and without doubt there existed a lovely synergy between tubes and Osborn speakers .........   so the journey continues for all of us.

PS :      sorry my photos are a bit ordinary..... Craka's are a lot better.......     go on the internet as this is a lovely looking piece of kit
