For sale is an Ayon S5 a full-featured Network Music Player/DAC/Preamp 
This has a class-A triode vacuum-tube output stage for both single-ended & balanced operation

While this is a network streamer it is also a superb dac and an equally stunning pre-amplifier which no doubt adds to the quality of the output whether using it in fixed output with an additional preamplification stage or direct to power amplifiers which I woul drecommend.

In any case, it can be used as any of these with its digital as well as analogue inputs and outputs.

I have been a fan of Ayon for a long time and when I upgraded from a previous Ayon DAC/Preamp, the jump in quality with this device was massive.

If you like the Ayon sound, and it does have a signature, its difficult to get better.

It's a pretty a mature design based on tried and tested and award winning Ayon approaches.
