Kenwood L-1000T 
The rare L-1000T is a solidly built FM-only digital tuner. It has a 6-gang front end and 3 IF bandwidths. Beautifully built, special braced chassis and a minimum of controls on the tuner itself. The unit is big and heavy. All of its controls (except the standby/off, tuning and tuning mode selector) are built into the remote control. It tunes in 25 kHz steps and is very selective.

Our contributor Nick says that his L-1000T has "the best audio quality of all the digital tuners I've heard”. David Rich adds: "The L-1000T looks like it might be the best Kenwood ever, maybe the best tuner ever”.
