Is it worth looking at buying an akg k371 (or k361) assuming they have the same connection?

 

my son has the k371 and it’s quite a handy closed hp, and different to the q701 as an alternative/extra hp

You could send a query to one of the major headphone accessory sites in china and if it isn't listed, pretty sure they'd just make you one with 7N copper, weave, etc even for the uncommon mini xlr (very neat plug/socket IMO)

 

Try  "wang yifei 2009" and see how you go.
