Further Information

Acronova Nimbie USB Plus is an affordable 100 Disc Autoloader CD Ripper ( aka Format Changer ) usable in several modes.

- Copy large collections onto NAS,Hard Drives, SSDs, and other storage devices, for use in Sonos, HEOS, BlueSound and other systems. Instant access versus find, open, load, listen !

- Preservation of CDs,

- Make Safety copies on archive drive. Useful if CDs are damaged as proof for insurance

- As well as reading discs, Nimbie can make multiple copies of a source disc.

- Nimbie autoloaders have been produced from early 2,000's. This model NB-21 bought March '23. It uses a DVD Drive.

Not retailed here, Imported only afaik.

basic software is available on the Acranova website under support, but batch ripping is best with 3rd party app.
For best use, a paid App is preferred. dbPoweramp Reference. Additionally an extra component is required. BatchRipper. See YouTube for a general guide.
note dbPoweramp has Apple Versions, but NOT BatchRipper which is PC only.
Do due diligence to understand this device's capabilities.

This unit has only 'format changed' 1,500 discs, and that only over a 3 month period.

Discs to be ripped should be checked prior to stacking, and both sides cleaned with a microfibre cloth to remove items that may stick discs together.
- On possibly  6 times over the 1500 ( 15 stacks ) did this issue occur, until I implemented the cleaning.

Note that the Discs as they are loaded from the bottom of the stack are slightly rotated. This sometimes can create minor surface scratches.

Don't consider if you have perfect/mint condition discs and want them to stay that way. Small surface marks usually play well, but deter resale values.

Of my 1.5k discs using dbPoweramp Batch RIpper all processed as BitPerfect copies,, so some scratches but all scanned and copied "Bit Perfect"
