Further Information

One of the last pieces of the puzzle I was hoping not to sell, but my personal life has imploded and I've got bills to pay.

Literally unused DP-UB9000. Never taken out of its box, never used, only opened for the box-contents photo.

If you wanted a Blu-ray player to do your favourite films justice, while also offering any CD's and audio incredible performance as well, this is about the best value on the market.

Happy to ship this, but please understand due to its weight it may be expensive.

If you live in the eastern or south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, I can drop this to you personally if you wish.

I own this player, and it is very good. There is a new model which replaced this model - DP-UB9000GN1. But the only reason for the new model was that the AKM factory where the chips were made burnt down, forcing Panasonic to source new chips. From what I understand, the video side in the new model is the same. There is just a negligable improvement on the audio side. So my player is staying on my rack. At this price, this player is a steal. GLWTS!

Yeah, getting it for the better build, quiet running (but not really important as I have transformer hum and projector fan noised) and a little video improvement.

I would have thought the older AKM chips would have performed better?
