Calling the C1000 a "headphone DAC / AMP" is selling it WAY short.    It's also a streamer, preamp and all round Swiss Army knife.    It's easily good enough to act as an entire desktop sytem(just add phones), OR front end a full HiFi system. And it's also entirely portable, with a massive builtin battery.      It has masses of internal storage, PLUS can take a TB+ SD card, plus stream from online apps via it's WiFi connection, and even acts as a roon end point.   Bluetooth LDAC as well.

I bought this around 9 months ago, but it has seen very little use. In the end I found I preferred a standard Android OS, and liked the AKM DAC sound a little better than ESS.  But that is an entirelty personal preference... if you like the ESS sound.... this baby is too good to pass up - it has QUAD ESS ES9068AS dacs.

Rather than me try to descibe the hundred ways you could use this, better read one of the many overwhelmingly positive reviews on the net.

I have preloaded the unit (SS memery) with several hundred CD's, and it's easier to sell this with them... so you may be getting a bonus!  Keep what you like...delete the rest.... delete the lot!   Up to you!  

These were quite expensive new, though I did get it at somthing of a discount.    This unit is a way better priced than I've seen on places like ebay, etc.

I have the box..... postage fine, so long as you pay extra for insurance.   I could also arrange for a Sydney based pickup, if that helps.
