Purchased in 2012, this NAD 412 AM/FM tuner is in working order except for the front screen that illuminates the station details. It is simply a matter of opening the unit and replacing the internal globe. Apart from that it works fine. Happy to accept listed price or any reasonable offers.

Very nice tuner. I was looking for a 402 for a while, but they rarely come up, so after a bit of research, I finished up with a 412 instead.

The 412 is an update of the 402, which is very highly regarded as a tuner that punched way above its price point when released. As far as I can determine, from my own research and some input from members of the fmtunerinfo group, the two are almost identical.

This is a great price for someone who has the skill to change the lamp. There are two small lamps. The 402 service manual shows them as 12V 85mA. WES components should have suitable replacements.
