I picked up these lovely speakers two years ago from another member. Thanks to their moderate (90db) sensitivity, I've used them with amps including a 20 wpc SET and a 150w solid state amp. The D7s are transparent enough to bring out the nuances with each piece of equipment I've placed upstream, and they have sounded excellent with each one - wonderfully detailed with lush mids and well-balanced bass.
The D7s have received many excellent reviews, a few of which are copied below, including from Stereophile (category A recommended). The current model D7.2 sells for $11k. To my ear, the differences between the two models are minor - mainly pertaining to speaker placement. (I've found the original D7s to be plenty flexible.) At this price, I think it's difficult to find anything better.
To my eye, the speakers are gorgeous and in great condition. I have found one small chip (2mm or so) and a few lighter marks. However, none of these marks are visible from any distance. Spikes and grills are included but not the IsoAcoustics Gaia III footers which you can see in the photos.
I'm sad to let these go, but I've decided to move to an ultrasensitive setup. I have the original boxes, so shipping shouldn't be a problem. Let me know if you have any questions!
