Where to from here....an all in one..

I’m sure streaming can sound amazing, for me it’s just for background music. Glad you’ve seen the light haha. 
 

Hifi has taken a small backward step. Young kids limits the opportunity to listen, so hard to justify expensive speakers gathering dust. 
 

I have a a cheapish set of stand mounts, which don’t make me feel guilty if they aren’t getting used

@rantan 'Amen to That', Ha, Ha,  I should have listened to you earlier Ivan. I had people telling me your SACD player will be sitting there gathering dust in a matter of weeks. It kind of worried me, but once I threw on Joni Mitchell 'Blue' SACD, I had little to worry about. 

Back to the sale...yes young kids indeed. I sold off a pair of Proacs because of a young French bulldog pup gnawing at the speaker bases, shame that as they sounded pretty good. 

I thought you were going to buy the 24i's after you heard them at 'Class A'.

You'll have to hear mine, absolutely flying at the moment since I added twin power supply upgrade for my Densen B-250 preamp, so easy to pick out overlapping instrumentation, mesmerising for a modestly priced system. I've worked during the night and should be in bed, I just can't, so moved by what I'm hearing.

Yeah I did A-B-A-B-A-B testing.  I don't doubt there's an improvement, but with my ears I couldn't justify the price increase.

Glad you're happy with your setup, been a long road  I'd love to take a listen.  I work on occasion in your neck of the woods, I'll drop you a line next time I'm around.
