Primaluna EVO 400 pre-amplifer bought from local authorised dealer. 

 

This unit has added the much needed warmth to my solid state power amplifier. 

 

Nothing beats tubes and this has made my Harbeth P3s sound the best they have ever been. Letting go due to changing priorities. 

 

Comes with all original stock tubes and packaging / papers etc.

 

Unit is only 2 months old and still under warranty.

Hi Just curios, I have a NAD M22 as well. How does it sound with the Prima Luna Pre? And what you moving to? Cheers

Hi Nelson, I was using the Denafrips Athena Preamplifier before, however with the Prima Luna the timbre improves, and I can hear more texture to the sound compared to the solid state Denafrips. Tubes really are the way to go. I didn't think the sound was lacking when I was using the Denafrips, but it really is a big improvement now that I hear the Prima Luna. 

 

I'm just thinking of moving on from this hobby onto something else, as spending less and less time with this hobby these days.
