This is a kick-ass SET amp with extraordinary power. I've been using it to drive my moderately sensitive (90db) Spendor d7 floorstanders, and it has heaps of power to spare. Many reviewers have commented on the amp's ability to sound powerful and clear while retaining the sense of realism that only valves can provide.

The amp is in great shape all around, with no scratches that I can see to the faceplate, sides, and transformers. (There are a few minor marks where the tube cage meets the case, but they are difficult to see from any distance.) The amp comes with a 240v transformer, which was included when I got the amp. (That is, 240v input, 220v output.) There's also a tube cage and very solid remote.

In my setup, the amp is silent in operation. I spent a while dialing in the tube complement, and I've listed it here including this upgraded set:

Power tubes: 2 x Line Magnetic 845s (made by Psvane, I believe)
Drivers: 2 x RCA EL34/6CA7 xf2 (made by Mullard in the UK)
Input: 2 x Philips ECC83 Holland 12AX7
Rectifier: 1 x Amperex GZ34 f32

I'll also include a backup set of tubes (Gold Lion, Shuguang, etc.), which also sound great. Let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to suggest a trade if you're interested (with cash either way).

I owned this model too (sob). Had to part with it. An all-time favourite for musicality.

Your choice of driver tubes [Drivers: 2 x RCA EL34/6CA7 xf2 (made by Mullard in the UK)] is outstanding. Talk about hidden detail and the thrill of really hearing the music clearly...

Yeah, it's a real treasure. The amp sounded amazing with the tubes I got it with (the backup set I mention in the ad), but this upgraded set really blew me away. The drivers are amazing, as you say, but it was actually the rectifier that made the biggest difference - the bass immediately became tighter and more impactful.
