Further Information

Monitor Audio Silver 7th generation in Ash.

Purchased from Melbourne Hifi on the 5th of June (delivered on the 14th).

In as new condition, used for approximately 12 hours so not run in yet. All original packaging included. Unfortunately some financial situation has come up that is forcing me to sell a few unnecessary items. The speakers are great. Have been running them in with a Copland CSA70 integrated in an approximately 6m x 5m living space and the bass is very impressive in that size room. Have previously had ls50's in the same room and the difference in the way they fill the room is enormous. Regretful sale. Will consider postage. Can include Tellerium Q black II jumper links which were purchased at the same time.

Ok, firstly, I admit ,as an owner I may have some bias.

However these are really very special speakers and (perhaps surprisingly ) they work a treat with low-ish powered damps and especially tube amps.

When I purchased my 40th Anniversary pair of these, I had them at @Grizzly 's home  and he used them for a while with an array of tube amps and especially his wonderful Lyrebird integrated tube amp.

IIRC was the first time he had heard any modern day Monitor Audio speakers and he was very pleasantly surprised just how good they were in his system.

So these can really sing very sweetly with tube amps. They also sound fantastic with my Luxman Class A.

I think many people do not realise the versatility and balance of these speakers, no matter if it's NIgel Kennedy, Jessica Pratt or Robert Plant in the glory days..

It's a very tough gig getting something better than these for $1300
