I am moving this pair of Stax monoblocks on. I have owned for a few of years and have enjoyed their natural, open and detailed sound. Sadly around a year ago one of the amps stopped working and due to other financial commitments (house reno) I have not been able complete the repair of the faulty amp 

 

Mike from Liquid Audio has cast his eye over it and spent 1 hour cleaning & testing etc. He was not able to locate the fault in that initial inspection (I will make report available), but was cautiously optimistic about finding the fault.

 

I have listed this rare pair at $1500.

 

An interstate buyer will need to arrange collection.

Beautiful sound real Class-A design from these, when Quality HiFi in George St Sydney bought them in and paired them up with some Quad ESL57's They were unobtainable in price then, this is a very good buy.
