For Sale: Grand Prix Audio Monaco Racks — Four-Shelf & Three-Shelf SE Units

Posting with permission from admin to help sell the late Smp’s audio products/estate.

Widely considered among the top performing audio racks in the world, these feature the SE version frames and the highly regarded upgraded Apex carbon fibre footers. The standard spikes are also included.

Smp had 2 x 4 and 2 x 3 racks – as can be seen in the photos, but half have already gone - which now leaves these two sections for sale.

For comparison, we’ve included screenshots from recent listings for a single four-shelf unit. When you compare the prices you’ll see the absolute value in this SNA offer, especially as ours is for two units (4 & 3 shelf), plus the upgrades.

Here’s part of a 2007 6-Moons review: “I kept my old steel/MDF stand alongside for this review. Moving my components from one rack to the other was an ear opener to say the least. There was no comparison… dynamics, transparency, resolution — heck, everything took a giant leap backwards [on the old rack]… A sobering thought indeed.”

Condition: Excellent overall – other than a few minor scratches on the acrylic shelves. The only consumable parts are the Sorbothane spacers, which are designed to be replaced annually. These are easily sourced directly from Grand Prix Audio.
