Hi SNAers,

Selling one of the most versatile 'tool' that I've had in my setup. I'm sure the MiniDSP does not need too much of introduction however I will share my setup and experience. 

My listening room was 4.2mx4m and was not really treated. Acoustics was horrible but I still managed with rugs etc

I came across the miniDSP SHD which was just perfect -it was the only Hi-Fi device that ticked all the boxes for me : 

• Powerful DSP with Dirac Calibration build-in
• 4-Channel DSP Controlled output for Main and Sub Integration
• Embedded Volumio Streamer with support for NAS and Spotify Connect, Roon etc
• Excellent implementation of AKM DAC ( DAC Measurement is availble in ASR - pls look for the updated review for the updated hardware)
• Great Preamplifier mode to drive Power Amp directly
• Reasonable price tag

In the end, with Dirac and Sub Integration - it made my horrible room into a setup where I could seat and listen for hours. All these with a 2 box solution - the minidsp and March Audio NC500 Power Amp. It was excellent.I tried Wi-Fi and Ethernet and they both sounded great so have been just using Wi-Fi and works withouth a hitch.

Well now it's been about 3 years, and I'm planning to try a tube NOS DAC,  and have a dedicated Pre-Amp .Have also done decent amount of room treatment.Hence the minidsp needs to go to funds new projects ! Please find the specs here
