Regretfully selling these wonderful Alta Audio Alyssa standmount speakers. The below review largely sums up my feelings on these;

i purchased these from Soul to sole Audio off these forums around 4 months ago. They were new/demo stock. The condition I have listed is Excellent, but they would largely be considered as new. There are no marks or issues as you can see from the images and they have had around 50 hours of use overall.

Reason for selling is; basically I need to consolidate my equipment. I have only got back into more serious 2 channel hifi in the last 6 months and have gone on a tear trying a bunch of things. But I am currently sitting on 6 pairs of speakers and need to focus on sourcing a new source (DAC - no pun intended..).

I am relatively firm on my price. I have all original packaging and could deliver to Sydney for fuel cost on agreement. Delivery to other states is at the cost of the purchaser.

I am open to trades on higher end DACs and pure streamers, with cash either way possible.

Now for the spiel; I’ve owned a lot of speakers over my time, including Dynaudio C1 platinum, Kii 3, KEF reference,  Focal Sopra, B&W and Monitor Audio Platinum standmounts among many others and these are definitively in the top three I have ever owned (probably the best in truth). They are a beguiling combination of resolution, soundstage and musicality. Darth Vader helmet shape aside, they also look stunning due to the rosewood gloss finish on these (which is a $1000 usd upgrade option over the standard finishes).
