Further Information

Up for sale are my Burson 3X GT Timekeeper Mono amps. Amazing Australian design, class A and A/B switchable design.

Great sound from these under rated amplifiers, the switchable class a to a/b is a very handy feature, depending on your speaker efficiency. I used these with speakers ranging from 4 ohm/87 db, to 8 ohm 92 db to great effect. The only negative with these amps would be the fans are audible in a silent room when up close (ie in a desktop setup, you would likely hear them when no music is being played).

This pair has the full suite of op amp (V7 classic pro), silent power (module 2) and super charger 5A upgrades, which notably improves the sound quality and staging in particular.  The pair are generally in excellent condition with OEM packaging.

Available for pickup from Shellharbour area. Can be delivered to Sydney on agreement. Shipping to other locations is available at the buyers cost.

I will consider trades on high end DAC’s and 5m long rca cable pairs.

Is low gain mode in full Class A only?

I think the class a mode stays in class (30 watts) and the a/b mode operates in class a to 30 watts then slides to a/b, but would need to do some reading to be sure tbh.
