For sale is this Denafrips Hermes DDC. The unit is about 2 and a half years old (it is not the 12th edition). I'm looking to upgrade my DAC set up and am putting the DDC up for sale first up.  I've used the Hermes with both the Pontus and now the Venus II. Those familiar with DDC as part of the Denafrips set ups will know this improves the SQ considerably by cleaning up the input signals. All reviews I've read indicate the Hermes equals the more expensive Gaia in terms of SQ. I connect the Hermes and Pontus via an I2S cable (Tubulus Concentus). I'm not planning to sell the Concentus at this point, but would be happy to discuss this with anyone seriously interested in the Hermes.
