This is a second and updated version of the Marantz top player at the time.
Features 3 different output filters for SACD and also 3 filters for CD playback, so it is easy to customise to the rest of your system and your liking.
Proper balanced operation with no transformers or inverting op-amps often seen in earlier Marantz offerings. Differential output circuit topology as found in all top designs and built with discreet transistors (again, no op-amps).
Laser freshly replaced and reads SACDs, CDs and CD-Rs with equal ease.
Comes with remote controller (a bit worn), User Manual and factory box from similar SACD player.
On a negative side, top cover has few blemishes and the sticker I placed on top cover is there to mask a scratch.
The top cover can however be easily removed and taken to your local panel beater to be re-sprayed if desired.
The rest of the player looks very good.
