One of the la revision of First Watt power amplifier created by genius Nelson Pass.
If you're looking at this ad you probably know it is one of a kind unit manufactured in limited quantities by Nelson's own company called First Watt.
F8 model is the previous generation and known as one of the best First Watt amps out of the entire range.

I'm the first owner, bought it from McLeans  Audio last year. I have a box available, so shipping shouldn't be a problem.

This is a solid state amp, but sounds unlike any other solid state amps. The closest competition is Pass Labs' own XA25 or INT25. I was lucky enough to be able to audition all three amps and can confirm all of them sound excellent, but First Watt F8 has something special almost addictive in the way it sounds. Pair it with the right speakers and you get killer hi-fi system for not so much of cash.

If you sick of tube maintenance and want somewhat tube like magic - this is the unit you after.

It's a full class A amp producing 15w into 4Ohm and 25w into 8Ohm. But don't be mislead by the numbers. Even with less sensitive speakers, it's plenty of loudness. I used it with 91db sensitive speakers and never needed more than half of the volume up.

This amp is less than 1 year old and still under warranty.
