Rega RP3 with Tangospinner Canaro Upgrade Kit installed but NO TONEARM

(Please read carefully!)

Up for sale is my trusty Rega RP3, however, I've repurposed the tonearm on another machine. Why might you want a Rega without the tonearm?

Suppose you happen to be an RP3 owner already. In that case, this deck has been upgraded with a Tangospinner Astor sub-platter, dual-belt brass pully with silicon drive belts, and ceramic zirconia oxide ball bearing (more information on which can be found on their website) which means you could either transplant the tonearm from your stock RP3 and enjoy the improved performance (with one caveat) or use it as a donor machine for your own project.

In the case of the former (this is the read carefully bit), the dual pully/belt set-up requires a Rega TT PSU/Neo PSU to enable 45rpm - with the standard internal power supply, it will only run at 33.3rpm. That said, included is the factory pully so that it can be converted back to dual speed with the standard power supply if required.

Also included are the original glass platter, original sub-platter, ball bearing, a Rega lid in fair condition (some scuffs, forgot to take a photo), original power supply and original box & packaging.

Everything is in great condition and working order (apart from having no tonearm, of course), however, the white trim/edging around the plinth has started to yellow around the front corners (see photo).

The Tangospinner upgrade package alone (Canaro) currently sells for $ 150 USD plus shipping (or $244 AUD at the time of writing) and, by the way, makes a noticeable difference to the performance!

If you're chasing a specific part or parts from the above items, let me know and I'll consider parting out.

Can ship at buyer's expense.
