Awesome vintage Advent speakers: The Large. In perfect working order, look to have been re-foamed recently. Cabinets have some dings commensurate with age and one grill has a small water mark.
The tweeters are the fried-egg style, and the sound is excellent. Full, rich low end that they are famous for, and a toggle switch to choose between three different sound profiles.
I am listening to these alongside a pair of B&W CM5s and Dynaudio Emit20 and they hold their own. Comparable bass (bigger than the CM5s) and clarity and separation to rival them both. Happy to audition.
